First decide if u want the masked or unmasked version, research how much they sell for loose and moc, as it is from a 2pack, On top of that make a saved search and just keep hunting, I have heard him go for $25-30, but a lot of sellers are asking $40-80 range even loose!

yeah, that's the problem I'm having, I'm hoping to find a place other than eBay and the various big name overpriced second hand toy dealers like BBTS. but I'll keep on truckin lol. thanks for the advice :)

Just curious if anyone here knows where I can find a Marvel Legends Face Off Captain America for a reasonable price?

Also look for Series 8 Cap as well. Essentially same figure. Got mine for $27 or 28 shipped. (I think) Good luck with the search. BTW what kind of Stang do you drive man?

Indeed, I have both of the series 8 Ultimate Caps. got one off my friend for $5 and the other from someone on facebook for $10. I don't really want to find the calssic variants, because the head sculpt looks pretty wonky to me. I have the series 1 and the first appearance from Hasbro, but the Face Off to me is the best version of classic Captain America that has been made to date. well, that and the Icon figure. as for my mustang, right now, I drive a green '98 v6, but I'm looking to get a decent shell of a '71 Mach 1 so I can rebuild it.

FrankCastle 09-11-2012 10:09 AM

Cool deal. I drive a 2000 v6. Welcome to the forums man.

The DMC 09-11-2012 10:10 AM

It's one of my entries for "Pose It up!"

thanks this seems like a cool one :)

also, I'd like to start off with a pic when I got bored really late at night...

FrankCastle 09-11-2012 10:20 AM

Nice! lol

Stangboy Prime 09-11-2012 10:27 AM

it's probably pretty obvious that the drums are made from various Cap shields, I got the mic from a WWE figure, and the Guitars came from Crow figures. you can't really tell in the pictures, but the guitar that Black suit spidey is holding had actual strings, they weren't just molded on.

that's pretty awesome! the mace looks like it came from a Lord of the Rings figure, but where are the helmets from? Spidey's wearing Gimli's, but I don't recognize the others...

DOOOOOOOOM!

thanks to my so cal brother Exodus for hooking it up!!

DOOM - Cellz (Born Like This) - YouTube

Doom meets Bukowski. Two of my favorite things.

Tiberius 09-11-2012 12:12 PM

Lets see some cool shots Shock. I like the look of it, but I don't know if I would get it to replace my Toybiz one..

Stangboy Prime 09-11-2012 12:41 PM

that Doom is the same basic mold as the first Hasbro one that was in the Ronan the Accuser series. although they did go back and retexture his belt and holster, as well as actually paint him instead of just mold in grey plastic. I love the Toybiz Marvel Legends, but for all of the faults with the Hasbro ones to now, I do have to say that Hasbro has better proportions, and the joints blend better for the most part.

Cap's wearing a Elven warrior helmet & weapons, Fantomex is wearing Faramir's? helmet with a Ringwraith mace and I don't remember who's helmet Spider-Women is wearing. I know it's a girl, though.

I loved my silver '00 V6 Stang. I just sold it a few months ago and bought a mini-suv. I miss my baby already. What color is yours? Have you done any upgrades/mods to it? Sorta off topic...

Sh0ck, noticed the crib - have you ever considered tying up some MU figs to use as a mobile? I don't know if you have a son or daughter, though. My son told me he wants to take his old mobile, cut off the fluffy animals, and then hang Spidey figs instead. He said it's going to be a gift for his cousin. lol

Ha. I DID actually think of doing that for Jack's crib mobile, but rather w Marvel plush dolls. Super Hero Squad stuffies. He's almost 4 months now.

Later, when he gets older, switch to Marvel 3.75" figs! His crib is already Marvel to the core. :D

Your son has his heart and creative mind in the right place. Congrats!

Thanks! I'll tell him about your idea for plush dolls. That might actually be a little bit safer than figs with small parts. heh

Yeh God forbid the mobile ever fell rather have soft items fall on me then hard plastic ones. You could even print off some marvel images and have them laminated.

If you're patient, you can find an auction that ends at some late hour and win one for about $100 or slightly less. Otherwise, they keep selling for $110-140.

I've been watching about 5 or 6 for my buddy and they've all ended at over $100 + shipping

WoRkAh0LiC 09-11-2012 07:01 PM

I got one recently for $98. So it's possible, just not that easy.
