Yeah, "Legends House" will be part of the WWE Networks original programming. I for one can't wait to see that if it's anything like the Surreal Life (guilty pleasure I know lol).
|
My guilty pleasure as far as reality TV was Rock of Love Bus. I blame my GF because she made me watch it.
|
My guilty pleasure for reality tv is definitely Operation Repo. I think that shit is hilarious, almost to the point of wanting to get into that line of work myself.

I hope my cable company includes WWE Networks in my current cable package, because I'm not about to pay extra for it. They get enough of my money every month as it is.

Yeah, the WWE gets enough of my money too, and I haven't paid for a PPV in years.
... well, I guess I have, but when you watch shit with like 5 people, it's hardly a relevant cost when compared to what things could be. |
I would rather pay a monthly fee for the WWE network if it plays classic wrestling programs than pay for some of WWE's pay per view events every month.
|
I'd like to be able to watch full episodes of Raw & Smackdown in order every way, starting from 1990 or so & working their way up to what's current. Like, I know it's technically repeats, but every time I watch a match on youtube or on one of their dvds, I always shit myself when it cuts off & doesn't continue.
This is apparently possible through one of their demand programs or whatever, but I think it'd be cool to have this on tv, and I'd be really surprised if they didn't do it at some point, especially in the beginning to test the waters. |
I just want to be able to flip the channel and have Wrestling on at all times durring the day.
I also wouldn't mind catching up on classic NWA, ECW, AWA, and the like as I haven't seen too much of it before now. |
Well, anyone owned by the WWE should be fair game, and I wouldn't be surprised if they dipped into others down the line.
Also, as long as we don't get stuck with hours of Hogan/Linda/Brook/whatever the fuck their dogs name knows best, I'll be a happy tweener. |
You're a tweener?
|
I'm usually more of a heel, but "happy heel" sounded lame & "happy face" wasn't even up for consideration, so I went in the middle.

... and speaking of tonight's episode of Raw, Kane should totally get into voice acting.
EMBRACE HATE! |
Are they serious with the Funkasaurus, Brodus Clay bro?
|
Not gonna lie here. I honestly thought that was just a bad dream.
|
I haven't watched it yet, was Brodus Clay awesome?
|
I don't remember, but it seems like it. I'm saying this because I missed his debut when I was watching it the 1st time, and then fell asleep part way during the repeat & woke up like 20 minutes later, which is why I thought what went down was a dream.
|
Oh, okay... that explains it.
I will watch my DVR copy of his debut and then update you on what you missed. |
Kane is fucking awesome...I've not been this excited about Raw in ages.

Anyone into Daniel Bryan's chicken shit heel turn?

This way, Daniel Bryan's character actually has somewhere to go instead of simply being a piece of shit who's been booked arguably worse than the Gobly Goober or whatever its name was up till this point. He ran ride this for at least a year, Micheal Cole can sell it really easy (which will help him get the needed heat), and his shtick of being a "good wrestler" who's also a little Wiesel can work out perfectly. People who hate him will either start to like him or hate him for the right reasons, and the people who know what's up will probably still appreciate what he's doing. Additionally, when he ends up turning face, he can always cut a promo much like Morrison did when he became ECW champion & throw away the "Daniel Bryan" character that was a piece of crap (he'll prolly say this) in light of the real deal. Actually, he could even do this now, citing the fact that Daniel Bryan was trash, that Cole was right, and that this is the real Brian Danielson. |
Yeah, I agree.
I also really liked the Funkasaurus. He made me feel like it was the late 80's, early 90's all over again. |
Daniel Bryan...I like the athelete, the wrestler he is but, I just can't stand the character. Bland as bland can get and that's sad because he can perform.
Jericho put on a helluva performance this week, dragging it out for another episode. I will admit, he threw me off at first with the return but, as was mentioned on TFW, he can come back and have the whole place cheering, meanwhile he's flipping us all the bird. Very interesting way to have an established heel come back. Brodus Clay...oh boy. I would have love to have been a fly on the wall in that creative meeting. "Ok, we've had you billed for the 2 months as making a "monster" comeback buuuuutttt......how's this instead?" *hands BC a Kangol hat* |
I think both Jericho's return and the Funkasaurus have the potential to be very interesting storylines depending on how they play out.
If the Funkasaurus becomes just another comedy act like Santino, then that's too bad, but if the complete absurdity of introducing such a throwback type of gimmick after being billed as a monster heel becomes something in and of itself; then that is something I will tune in to see. |
