I went to Target to see if they had Spider-Man Noir since today was supposed to be the release date and nada. Not even on the way. The girl checked the system and no store anywhere had him.

Just got shipping notice for my morphs. Should be getting processed on the 4th.

Orb Molecule Man and Walgreens exclusive Moonstone Disney + What If Gamora Marvel Legends Retro Carded Wolverine Retro Card Multpile Man Retro Card Spiral and Avalanche Storm Stryfe announced
|
So the second unlockable teir for the Ghost Rider Haslab was teased and its got to be the amulet that clasps the Goblin Queen's cape in the front, right?
And a surprise X-men retro wave? Heck yes! Spiral and Avalanche are immediate buys for me. Argh so excited for a Spiral! |

I actually like Banshee's screaming head sculpt so while I don't want this version I am excited for the eventual green and yellow hopefully reusing this head.

While the team at the time all had the same design theme overall, Banshee's is the one that really stuck in my mind as standing out in terms of how they tried to individualize them slightly. And wow, that face sculpt is AWESOME. not just miles but light years better than the one from 2007 I haven't watched the video yet, just going to look at the shiny pictures when they're up but someone over at Fwoosh mentioned an Avalanche? This is true? Wow, after a year of nothing out of my top 10 being knocked off, Comic Sersi, Banshee and Avalanche are all coming. |

I think they said pre-orders go up at 5 or 6 p.m.
In terms of the reveals, I'm thrilled we're getting the three-pack of Daredevil, Bullseye and Elektra, but I wish Daredevil was sold-separately. The Retro X-Men wave was great, as Avalanche, Dark Phoenix and Wolverine are must-buys for me! Retro animated Cyclops was disappointing, as I wanted an optic blast accessory and an alternate Scott Summers head. I hope we'll get this re-released on the Retro card without the cel-shading and with the optic blast included. The biggest thrill for me was seeing that we'll be getting "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" figures next year, but I really, REALLY hope they don't have cel-shading! I hope that Spider-Man, Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson, Felicia Hardy, the Lizard, Mysterio with a Quentin Beck alternate head, Doctor Octopus with bendable wire tentacles, the Shocker with vibro-shock blast accessories, the Hobgoblin (that actually looks like his animated series counterpart in the head sculpt, suit and shape of his glider -- and that the glider fits his feet next time), the Chameleon, Morbius the Living Vampire, the Green Goblin with Norman and Harry Osborn alternate heads, and Deluxe figures for the Kingpin, the Rhino, and Alistair Smythe in his hoverchair all make the cut! I also hope a new red-and-blue suit version of Spider-Man is made that isn't on that teenage body mold again and lacks the cel-shading. Since "Secret Wars" was mentioned quite a bit in the video, I hope this means we'll see a Retro wave for it in 2024 for its 40th anniversary! It'd be a great way to get a new Captain America with a new shield accessory that doesn't have holes in it and alternate broken shield, an updated body mold for Doc Ock with the long-requested bendy tentacles, Jim Rhodes' Iron Man, classic Doctor Doom with "Kirby crackle" energy effect accessories, classic Magneto, '70s X-Men suit Cyclops with an optic blast, '80s X-Men suit Rogue, Colossus, Nightcrawler, green-and-purple suit Wasp, Enchantress, Volcana, Titania, the Absorbing Man, and any of the Wrecking Crew. |

Come to mama!
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fd7Zoj3W...pg&name=medium https://c.tenor.com/yR-JLdtcCbAAAAAC...per-heroes.gif With armored Gamora, the training suit figures, Orb, Stryfe and Molecule Man, we've also more or less gotten confirmation that the leaks were legit. Let's go Kingpin! |
Not quiet the Avalanche figure I was hoping for, but close enough, I was hoping for the light grey and dark grey costume from Mystique's brotherhood of mutants and the 90s X-Men cartoon, Hasbro can always do a repainted re-issued Avalanche figure in the future.

As an X-men collector, Hasbro did not disappoint for me today. Walking away from one of their reveals with 5 must buys from me has been rare this year but Spiral, Avalanche, Kid Omega, Monet, Chamber are really great gets for me. I would of given up one of those swords with Spiral for a magical circle effect though. Very curious to find out what looks for those last 3 they are going with. Modern M with interchangeable Penance parts is easily my number 1 version for her. Her 1st X-factor maroon with a cape look is my number 2. For Chamber is all black short jacket look is my favorite but most of his looks are similar enough for me that I will take any of them. Stoked to see his energy chest and how they go about doing it. Kid Omega always looked best to me during the Wolverine and the X-men era. Student but rebel with out the culty flair of the Grant Morrison introduction. I think I like the retro Longshot too so he makes a maybe buy for me.
With so many of my current top wants from X-men getting done my new X-men top ten looks really different and that excites me. Destiny, Exodus, Husk (HoX), Psylocke (Outback armor), Rictor (Excalibur), Cypher (HoX), Blob (maybe happening ????), Anole, Rachel Summers (hound), and Banshee (GSX) now top my list. W |
Didn't catch the con today. Any Marvel stuff available for pre-order today? It's 5:45 and I don't see any Marvel stuff.

Avalanche and Banshee.
Told you so. Hasbro must really have their people be lurking here to make our wishes/dreams come true |
Thoughts now that I've had time to digest it (and have preordered the retro Wolverine, Longshot and Avalanche)...
Really glad the training uniform figures are coming out. That was one era that I was really hoping we'd get eventually, but it was more of a thought we'd probably only ever get Wolverine. So I'm super stoked about that. As mentioned already, Banshee looks fantastic, and for those that were just wanting a Banshee in any outfit, will fill that hole. I'm sure at some point we'll get GSXM, but not gonna lie, the want for that will go way down with this. I liked both looks equally. Avalanche is like...90% there but they'll probably redo the head at some point to what the "Classic" Classic Avalanche looked like. I'll probably get that when it comes out eventually, meanwhile, this is a figure that definitely needed a classic/close to classic release. Like badly. Orb is fantastic. Much like Squid (who I'd love a figure of), this is a character I didn't really have any real knowledge of (outside of Original Sin for Orb). He wasn't on any of my want lists. I don't care. It's a guy with a giant freaking eyeball for a head. I can't pass that up. Confirmation of the X-wave with Monet, Chamber, and the Astonishing looks is good - not yet watched the video, so I'm not sure if they confirmed the wave or just teased a figure or two. Definitely getting Monet, she's been close to my top 10 for about 3 years now. Onto the head scratchers/disappointments: Retro Longshot and Deluxe Mojo. Headscratching but in a good way. Why even both with the 3.25 (not 4!!) figure box set at all? Glad to get Longshot cheaper and who the hell knows, for $50 I may even get Mojo. It's great that they're making Moonstone "available" though who knows how available given it's Walgreens. I realize the Boxset Moonstone is nearly 10 years old so an update is welcome for most, but I'm fine with what I have. Would have greatly preferred either Moonstone's classic (yellow/white/fin head) look or Meteorite. Disappointment for me personally, but I know many will be thrilled because of how hard it was to find, the Dark Phoenix. I was hoping for a Jean, but I was hoping for X-Factor Jean, if only because of the X-Factor Cyclops 3 years ago, we need a Jean to go with Scott. Over all though, not a huge amount for me that's not X-Men related. Just Orb I think, at least of what's been revealed today, though it's possible I've skipped something. Still, with Banshee and Avalanche I'm getting two of my top 10 figures next year, with another likely with Sersi. Those 3 are 3 more than I got from my top 10 this year (though Siryn was close). Counting right now, I should be at around 20 figures next year, if the Avengers two packs is legit. MCU Kang is a certainty. |
