Speak of the devil, I just found Strange at my Walmart this past weekend. They had like six of him in an end-aisle hanger along with some of the Spidey's 60th assortment. I was pretty sure by this point that I was just never going to find this one so that was a pleasant surprise. I know it was a common complaint but my only big criticism is that the blue of his emblem isn't distinct enough from that of the rest of the tunic. I don't have a serious grievance with the cloak being fixed to him and while it's technically odd that his meditating head has different hair you also can't display him with both heads at once. Everything else is cool though. I imagine Hasbro will give us another classic Strange down the road (probably retro carded) maybe with a white emblem and the blue leggings, but this release checks all the boxes I wanted it to.

Out and about yesterday and got my second finding of the new packaging, with some of the Black Panther MCU wave. Ugh. Just so not impressed. I wasn't going to buy anything from it anyways, but it just is so uninspiring.

From an adult perspective, we can't see the paint job. We can't see if anythings' missing. From a kids perspective - they can't see the actual figure. They lose that selling point. There's a reason why so many "figure" toys have been packaged as to show the figure within. Because it helps to sell. I just don't see this being a long term thing, because I think sales will shift downwards enough that Hasbro will reverse course. But maybe not.

Pretty Boy is a character I have zero interest in, but I'm happy he's revealed because that's yet another member of the leaked list confirmed, further adding to its veracity. Which means the stuff I'm actually looking forward to from it (looking at you, MCU Kingpin) is likely true as well.

This guy walks into a bar on the tippy top of a tall building. He sits down to order a drink. The man seated next to him stands up, walks to a window, opens it and jumps out!
