Yeah, I’ve had to cancel a couple preorders because they’re trying to rush everything out by EOY. With the current economic situation, money is drying up faster than I’m used to.

Having the same problem. One of the things for me is I have stuff like Mezco figures preordered. The symbiote set was almost charged at the same time as the construction worker cockroach so I had to cancel unfortunately. Between the two I didn't feel like losing the $25 deposit.

On the HasLab project…I know that price point killed it for a lot of people, but I do hope that they don’t give up on giving us a vehicle of some sort for our Legends.
Note: Blackbird can be done, maybe a cockpit for one or two figures, and 4 figures for the backseat! if the can do Galactus, a Sentinel, and Unicron, they definitely can do a Blackbird. But, that have to give us the value for our buck as well. The Ghost Rider Project felt a little too rushed and I don’t think the smartest people were in the room when the project was launched. I know I’m bias, but I think a lot of Marvel Legends fans would have a hard time turning down a well done and well priced Blackbird, since it is an iconic X-Men vehicle. |

And Amazon shipped my SPider-Man set out for delivery tomorrow before I even had the chance to cancel.

The Marvel Legends line is simply and character only toy line, smaller vehicles are welcome like Ghost Rider's hell cycle, Deadpool's scooter, Professor Xavier's hoverchair, or even Vulture's and Falcon's wings, Larger vehicles like Robbie Rayes's hell charger, the Fantasticar, the X-Jet/blackbird, the Avengers quin-jet and especially the S.H.I.E.L.D hellicarrier are out of the question, because the prices would be a lot more than 4 digits.

Got the MCU Moon Knight from Amazon. I plan on completing this wave but I didn't want to splurge and get them all at once, the two Moon Knights are the priority gets though. He looks nice with lots of sculpted details and minimal but clean and appreciated paint apps. Much like the Wandavision Scarlet Witch this figure is based on concept work so some details aren't 100% to what was seen on the screen but really it's just the mask for Marc that's off. Articulation is mostly standard MCU Legends fare so no boot/calf swivel but the basics are all covered. He doesn't have butterfly shoulders but I think this was done since the cape wouldn't even have let them really be of use and they might have cut into the torso sculpt awkwardly. Speaking of awkward his bicep cuts are just flat lines so using them too much in either direction starts to look funky. I also will note that I had some serious hassle in getting the elbow hinges on his right arm to get moving. Moving on to accessories, all he has is a pair of alt hands and two oversized crescents which can close together into one chunky crescent. These crescents are stupid big compared to the size seen which isn't terrible on its own right but then he can't even hold them in the middle proper-like so for long-term display I'm definitely going with the closed fists. Overall he looks nice and handles mostly well but there are some mechanical gripes and an Oscar Isaac alt head would have been appreciated. |

Didn't that leaked list of upcoming Legends have Hawkeye and his Skycycle listed? I wonder how that is gonna work... depending on which version they use the Skycycle can be pretty big. Glad I already have a Retro/Vintage Hawkeye... I bet this new set if it does come out will be overpriced.

[QUOTE=GizmoTron;911104]In all seriousness, Spidey eventually turned both of those bullies around. Flash became a great friend and a hero in his own right because of Spider-Man, and J.J.J. turned a new leaf and became Spidey's #1 fan. Plus the actual truth is that the people of NYC all love Spider-Man because they know despite what's on TV news that Spider-Man is a hero, as they know firsthand what he's done. That's the power of the message Peter has sent and why he's Marvel's greatest hero.
Amen to that, now if only the Incredible Hulk could get that kind of love from people other than Betty Ross and Rick Jones and Doc Sampson and She-Hulk, and by the way, as much as I enjoy Spider-Man, I'm mostly a fan of the Incredible Hulk. |

What really bugs me is that we haven't had a Diamondback figure when she was more of a presence in comic arcs than most of the Serpent Society that we have gotten.

I still like my Rock Python tho'... |
The question is, which version of Diamondback would they give us? Her outfit from the Serpent Society or the one with the jacket she wore when she left them and joined with Cap.
|
Hell yes to Diamondback. I also personally really want a Death Adder and his killer which leads me to my next point. I wish Hulk and Captain America could have some dedicated waves because I don't know when they'll get around to all their characters. I still find it crazy that there isn't a true Demolition Man. We got Armadillo before a Daredevil outfit Wolverine mask Demolition Man.

I’d love to see Chainsaw get a fig.

Well after being informed that my aunt died back in August today, I received my Spider-Man set.
https://i.imgur.com/2p4t11P.jpg My initial impressions: Silvermane - His arms are entirely new and use the same arms Pretty Boy has. Everything else is the same as the Ultron body, but the joints are super tight and the Silvermane head looks way better to the one on the race car. Also, unlike the version they got on thefwoosh, his ear areas are painted silver instead of flesh color. I actually really like him a lot, though, I don't recall Silvermane ever having big ass guns like this one came with. Then again, I don't remember having any issues where he used a gun period with his robotic body. Human Fly - Um.... he's what you would expect being on that tired body. The wings are quite loose in his backpack so shaking him causes them to fall down. The eyes are nicely detailed to look like an actual fly's, Paint apps are good. No complaints for what he is. Pumba... I mean Razorback - This might actually be the best figure of the set. He's huge! The fur on the boar skin is nicely sculpted and the due's face looks like someone you wouldn't want to come across in a dark alley. Then again, it is New York, so that's pretty much everyone in a nutshell. Molten Man - I do still think he should have been on the Namor body, but what we got is fine. His head does not look as big as it did in the promo shots and the coloring they used for him is very nice. I don't recall him having fire all around him in the Silver Age run though. At least, not normally (his meltdown scene is a different story). Overall, he looks really nice. Symbiote Spidey - As to be expected, this figure friggin sucks and is the worst thing about this set. It's too tiny for the price point, there are no white blocks on his hands, and the purple coloring is too vibrant for what should be a black costume. I did not realize how much I hated this body until now and I really hope Hasbro does an upgraded comic Miles Morales at some point. At $130, it should have been a Spidey on the new AF15 body instead of this rinky dinky poopy toy. If you are not a huge Spider-Man villain collector, I would say you can easily skip this set. |
