So all the wave 2 figures are only one per case as well. I guess they should all rare, right? lol. See guys, this stuff will get out there eventually and we will get revision cases and more Wasp's or whoever you want. I passed on $14.99 price at BBTS because I know I'll find her.

Maverick 03-20-2014 02:43 PM

My only fear of wap not being easy to find would be the wave one captain America and ironman clogging the shelves.

I'll hook you up bro (unless you find it sooner), I was able to get a couple of WASPS before they sold out. One is reserved for salsa4datass and if you don't find it before I get it, then it's yours.

If you could have a TOP FIVE of wanted vehicles.... what would they be?

mine...
Sky Cycle for HawkEye
Drop Ship for SKRULLS
A HYDRA tank of some sorts
better Quin Jet
SHIELD flying car
Decent Quinjet and Sky Cycle is good. I use a Star Wars bike thing for Hawkeye at the moment:

Tell that to Marvel Universe Vision.

Thanks alot.

Im only freaking out about her because I love the character and what I have been saying about my local stores is no exaggeration.
My nearest Walmart and Target I wouldn't bet on even seeing the Cap or Iron Mans.

Breaks down to a lil under 10 each, but not including shipping. But dang there's only 5 out of that 12 I would want haha dang it.

I missed out on Wasp at BBTS but now I am thinking you are right Exodus (damn work meetings). I might just order that wave 2 case. My commander Rogers has crazy loose joints, and I don't have a yellow jacket, so that would only leave me with BRB, IM and cap to get rid of. Not a bad case assortment if you buy the whole box. I'm really hoping we get a deaths head 2.

aefranci 03-20-2014 05:16 PM

anybody getting the case of 12 for 114? i don't think the price is that bad, you save money on gas and having to wake up super early...but now I'll have 3 bleeding edge ironmans and 2 steves and 2 yellowjackets and 2 beta rays...any recommendations for customs? haha or should i just wait..

An exception that would prove the rule. 3.75" Marvel is still going so he'll come out and the phasing version was released in a revision case later so we all got him cheap when solid was still high. And most of us saw Solid Vision at retail. I passed because I wasn't really buying MU yet and many others passed because they didn't like the buck. We've all passed on things that become expensive later. It's much more rare for a retail figure to be scalped to hell from day one and a collector never has a shot at a decent price. Outside of exclusives every single MU has been available for less that $20 at some point.

Yeah the only downer is there's no Hulk, I didn't realize that ugh:P

I'm debating on getting the 1 case that has almost all of them except Hulk:(

cidman911 03-20-2014 10:32 PM

If anyone gets a case & can alley oop me an Indestructable Hulk they don't want I'll take it.

skywarrped 03-21-2014 07:38 AM

For those needing a discount code, 10htsdisc works on hasbrotoyshop.com. It's not anywhere as good as spring14 was, but every little bit helps. Thanks to Snoopy Magnus on TFW for sharing the code.

Truth! I'm canceling my pre-ordered Wasp at BBTS right now!

Not.

Specter 03-21-2014 09:39 AM

Im glad people passed on this Black Widow with the lightup base I got at TRU yesterday.
She had a horrendous bend in her left leg but with that fixed she is probably my favorite BW.
Only problem is that she shares the same hair with Psylocke and Jean which doesn't bother me if they aren't displayed directly next to each other.

I would think hulk isn't gonna be too hard to find. He never peg warms but seems to get passed on by the early morning collectors/ hot wheel guys. I'm just glad this case is coming out so I don't have to contribute to scalpers or waste a ton of time and gas.

I'm also surprised we are getting guys like nighthawk and Hyperion, I didn't think we would get more squadron supreme members before some core avengers. I wonder if there is a plan to release the rest of the squadron.

So right after I ordered wave 2 I've noticed hasbro is releasing a revision case of wave 1, packed with 2 X wasp, grim reaper, hyperion, hulk, IM and cap. Maybe hasbro listened?

cidman911 03-21-2014 12:28 PM

Went to 2 TRU's, Walmart & a Target in San Diego this morning...no signs of any new 3.75" figs.

I did get that Lego Batman Penguin set with the Rubber Ducky & the Bat-Jetski and a new deck of UNO cards since my old one was beat.

ukmu 03-21-2014 12:32 PM

Hey hey hey.... Hasbro is listening. Wow, that is amazing that a company is actually doing what their base market wants. It is a start. I suppose a congratulatory celebration is order to Team Hasbro..... Thank you for listening.

spade 03-21-2014 12:36 PM

I know nighthawk started with squadron supreme but I think of him as a defender guy. hyperion ... Sometimes I think if there's a marvel legend version that eventually will be a 3.75 version. I would love to know the rhyme and reason of the characters that are released.

Weird thing about AI line is the Wasp is the only avenger released in the avenger line. hyperion (red) isn't technically an avenger but maybe a black repaint is in the works. And sorry the thor (eric) is underwhelming. Why couldn't we get Thunderstrike? Or thor in the armor when his bones where brittle?

spade 03-21-2014 12:48 PM

Question for those that have the Wasp and have taken her out from the package: is she as talk as the other female character or she smaller?

Based on reviews she has the newer body but one reviewer thinks the upper torso is smaller than the others and apparently the arms seem more slender. Not sure though.

I would like some.comparison pics next to Jean Gray and Dagger. The short old and the tall new....... Any body got a Wasp.and those lovely ladies for a shot?

Edit.... thanks for the pics, that helped a lot! She isn't the huge and tall figure I was made to believe after all.

Specter 03-21-2014 01:22 PM

Anyone own the Avengers Assemble Iron Man figure,
How is he size wise compared to other Iron Man figures?

He looks pretty big and bulky in package, considered buying him and painting the red a litte better.

hes about the same height as most IMs. the bulk is really nice and makes up for the lessened articulation. I personally use him as my default IM
