I'm hawking it, but still debating if I want to pull the trigger. Trying to get these older legends is going to be pricey. I read a review that said the series 8 Cap was bountiful back in the day, now he is 30+

EL997 09-13-2012 07:07 PM

anyone got pics of the avengers movie hulk? hows he compare to the MS one? hows the articulation?

It would have been cool if the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon had used Iceman and the Human Torch as Spidey's hero team.

Its tough to get into ML now that RoML are out. Makes those older ones more expensive. Believe me i had EVERY ML till they went 2 pack and MU got announced. I decided to get rid of aome figures from hasbro waves and some toybiz thinking ML were done, Hence why i switched to Mus, Mistake. When I sold the hasbro ones they sold for less than retail now that im trying to re-buy them, im paying more than what i sold them for. Sucks. But its part of the game i guess.I wish all those luck jumping in to this line if your a completest. We def have to help each other out

patience, I have gotten some good gundam deals, and the kits are expensive to begin with. Just take it easy and decide what price is right for you.

After the Movie I started collecting ML.. I put $500.00 aside for all the Avengers I wanted and within 2 months had all the ones I wanted. Since then I have acquired a lot more and don't see an end in sight. I have been collecting DCUC/DCD for 8 years now hence my Tag Name.

You know what's funny, at first I was like, holy hell $500! Then realized I probaby spend at least $250 a month on other figures in smaller doses.

I hear ya. The starting Avengers you want are Face/Off Cap., 2 Pak Black Widow, and Series 7 Hawkeye. The other 3 are easier and cheaper to get.

kenm2474 09-13-2012 08:03 PM

I have that Movie Thor in that pic I posted if you want him for $10.00 shipped. LMK

I went through the whole ML line on that website somebody posted a few days ago and these are the figures I need to start targeting. There is no way I will be a completionist with this line, the backlog is too much. Not trying for a team or any rhyme or reason, just ones that look badass. This is going to cost me some money down the road...

Series 5 - Sabretooth and Colossus
Series 6 - Juggernaut ( I actually passed on this for $5 bucks in San Diego last year because I didn't collect the line:(
Series 7 - Silver Centurian Iron Man and Hawkeye
Series 8 - Classic or Ultimate Captain America
Wonderman
Cable
Ares Series - Ares, Human Torch, Crossbones (these seem unlikely)
Nemesis Series - Daredevil
2-Pack Red Hand Ninja
2-Pack Black Widow
2-Pack Deadpool or the New ones (at least I'll get a chance with the re release of DP)
X-Force 3-Pack (sadly also passed on this in July when I was strictly MU, I was scouting HTS.com for 3 days and could have got it, thought about it, but passed.)

WoRkAh0LiC 09-13-2012 08:32 PM

I just won Ben Reilly Spidey off of eBay! I actually bought 2 - one loose for my son and 1 MOC for my wall. heh. I'm in a good mood today. Also, I just received 2 more cases of ML Wave 3. Some of them are already on hold for some Arkers that PMed me a month ago when I said I was going to order 5 cases. I actually ended up pre-ordering 2 more (7 total cases), and those are currently on the way - they should be here tomorrow. Currently, here is what I have left if anyone needs them:

Green Costume Dr. Doom - 1
Mystique - 1
XF Deadpool - 1
Neo Classic Iron Man - 4

If you need any of those, please PM me and let me know. I'm just trying to break even and not make a profit. My cost is $16.99 per figure, and that's what I am selling them for. Shipping will depend on if you want the figure loose or MOC.
Anyways, on to the rest of my post...

Man, that sucks. I started late, but I'm not a completionist. I don't have any really super rare figures, but I'm happy with what I've accumulated over the past 3 months. Eventually, the ones I have will be rare... I hope lol.

ML articulation is always better than MS. MS has much more detail, however. So, it really depends on what you want to do with the figure. I personally don't like the way the MS Incredible Hulk looks. I don't know what it is, but I like the MS Avengers Line Hulk better.

yup! What he said. Be patient and you will eventually get some really good deals. My advice: look for auctions that end between 12AM PST and 4AM PST. No one is really up to snipe bid you during those hours. :D

Guys seriously workaholic is awesome to buy from. He is super nice and will work with you!

I think I paid like 15 for silver centurion iron man.

Crossbones will be at least 60. Colossus will be at least 28
