Boog just recently posted his SDCC interview with the team. Bullet points again.

- We're getting some more Inhumans next year following this year's Karnak.

- Power Princess is 100 percent new and the body will be reused for taller female characters.

- The female SHIELD and HYDRA Agents will be a Pulse release.

- They want to do more of the X-Men 97 cast.

- Strongly imply we'll be seeing some of the cinematic Spider-Men with unmasked headsculpts (I believe this was already in the leaks).

PLEASE let them use the PP body for proper scaled Asgardians like Sif and Enchantress to replace the tiny versions we already have.

Sif and Angela aren't all that small, but 100% agree about Enchantress

TheBlueMarvel 08-02-2023 07:28 PM

I need to see the Power Princess next to the mid-large male body (specifically Loki) before I hop on the PP bucks for all statuesque Marvel women train.

If PP is taller than the Grim Reaper body, which I believe it is, then I think it should be reserved for only the tallest and most muscular of female characters. I'm all for female figs that tower over male figs, but both the Loki and Thor legends function as markers that should inform the scale for all other Asgardian characters. If the PP is taller than than Loki and they use it for Sif/Enchantress, then there will be a new scale issue to address down the line (which might be a goal considering Hasbro's proclivities - trying to be nice here).

Honestly, I think we need a mid-large buck for women between 5'10" and 6'3" which would be a separate mold from this Power Princess. I'm hoping PP is in the range of 6'8" to 7'+, imo that would be ideal.

This for sure! I hope with Mark II coming out we get a steady stream of older Iron Man MCU suits. Fingers crossed for IV, V, & VI in the next few years. AOU 45 also.

Fair, Sif and Angela aren't badly sized. Enchantress is the problem.

Also fair, I was thinking PP was 6'4". Should be something they could adjust with slightly shorter upper leg pieces or something. Or just use one of the newer She-Hulk figures for female Asgardians. I don't mind how they do it so long as it happens eventually.

I really freaking hope this will include Crystal. It's got to right?

hasbroherofan 08-03-2023 09:33 AM

Nah it’ll be the fish dude, everyone’s fave.

WallySparks 08-03-2023 09:38 AM

i have a question for anyone here.

If you were to splurge on buying an older or still fairly new Marvel Legends figure that's a bit spendy from 60 to 100ish bucks, what figure would you buy after taking care of the bills first of course :P

one or two Marvel legends figures that"d go and buy just because i felt like it

classic brown and tan outfit Wolverine from the Juggernaut build a figure wave

the new Retro two pack of Dr Banner with classic 1960s Grey Hulk

or at least some other spendy two pack like one of those Spider-Man two paks like Black symbhiote SPider-Man vs Carnage or something.

ML Beast repaint W/Sculptor Shelf (May Thamtarana) Alt Head. To say the May's headsculpt is incredible would be a gross understatement.

This was actually the first full figure custom I ever attempted (2018). I raised the factory head a bit by sculpting in the back so it sits higher on the shoulders.

Here's the second full figure custom I created (2019). I decided to go for a,"I've been knocking around pillaging shit hanging out in sewers for weeks" look. It was a lot of fun.

ThorOdinson123 08-03-2023 10:38 AM

The X-Men 97 figures are up for pre-order with a November release date

Great paint work man! And yeah, that alt Beast head is pretty sweet.

Dr Kain 08-03-2023 11:51 AM

Please tell me Magneto's head is not really that high on the neck.

TheBlueMarvel 08-03-2023 03:34 PM

Those paints look great Firmpulse! I especially love that Lizard. Nice work!

Guess Hasbro is reusing Vertigo's body for the Lady Bullseye figure. Looking at the Stryfe multipack on amazon and just noticed this about Vertigo's body which is being reused for the "new" Lady Bullseye

Veronica Mars 08-03-2023 10:22 PM

Maybe the torso and arms, legs are different, Lady Bullseye has pinless legs

WallySparks 08-04-2023 07:33 AM

Theyre still using the same frikking body which is really lame.

Veronica Mars 08-04-2023 08:50 AM

Most of what's been new has been the arms and legs.

Hulkwummy 08-04-2023 10:25 AM

Got my new Black Widow figure today.

^Glad you got your Cyke, Wally.
