Pulse sent out an email saying they will begin charging for the animated series Peter Parker and Smythe 2 pack, which has an approximate ship date of September 7th. Looking at other preorders, the next What If? wave and the female trooper 2 pack both have September 12th as their approximate ship date.

Everything else still on preorder lists the ship date as the first of October, November, or December.

oooh I hope that ends up being the case for Star Wars figures too...I need my Jabba's Palace goons. Trying to think if I have anything else preordered with Pulse - aside from the SW Haslab) - and I don't think I do. I'm actually all caught up on legends at this point, with the animated series Bishop the only thing that's confirmed coming this year that I have an interesting in buying.

Hopefully that Legends session will give us more of an idea on an Avengers wave for next year, or however Vision, Justice and Power Princess will be coming...hopefully the Count Nefaria rumor is true. So far I'm only down for Justice unless the BAF is going to be Atlas.

I checked several different lines last night. The MMPR Remastered Zach as well as the Marcus and Belloq 2 pack from Raiders were the only things that had moved up to the next few days. Black Series and Transformers didn't appear to have any incoming figures.

Dammit, Marvel. They’ve locked a brown costume Nova variant behind a subscription/pay-wall for Marvel Unlimited. This eventuality has always been in the back of my mind, and I’ve resisted variants for other figures I actually wanted throughout the years; GotG Rocket, a suited Tony Stark, and S.H.E.I.L.D. Captain Marvel. But they finally got me with this New Warriors Nova. I know this isn’t Hasbro's fault, but it’s no less aggravating.

EDIT: and why are they calling it a "red" Nova? I must be color blind because I've always considered it brown.

I would've preferred Fin Fang Foom but I think it will succeed. I'm excited to see what they could do that would be a genuine upgrade to the ToyBiz Build-a-figure.
