EDIT 8/16: Says they're in LA now. Maybe they got holed up in customs for some reason.

EDIT 8/21: Finally showed up yesterday. Very impressed! Might need to get my hands on another Hongo or two though for customs....

WATCHER vol.01 BLOG

All of Build's figures got a waist joint that only the Dai SO-DO Ex-Aid figures had. Zi-O toys gets a similar upgrade with alternate hands (and wrist joints) that only Dai SO-DO Build figures had.

AmiAmi has the preorders for waves 1-4 up (Had to search "soudou" for waves 1-3). Sets are already sold out, but cases are still there. There is a little new info from the listings.

Ride 1, Oct, has 7 types.
Ride 2, Oct, has 6 types.
Ride 3, Nov, has 8 types.
Ride 4, Dec, has 8 types.

That's 29 total types for just the first 4 waves. And here I thought Zi-O would be easier with less forms than Build. I don't think it's all forms, but I'm not sure what. I doubt it's past Riders because ShodoVS is a thing.

I've been lukewarm on the Shodo X because I have too many Rider 1s and Rider 2s and while that wave looks nice (better than the ones I have), I just didn't need more. But this is more Riders not yet made and a bike I really like. Mainly because Auto Vajin has a robot mode.

PS I love that Diend, who doesn't have a bike at all, is in a sub line mainly made to have bikes.

They announced this "Final Form" Ultraman X some time ago, when the last Shodo wave appeared. I think this is the Ultra version for the Riders' Shodo-X.

They're nice, though. Loved the basic X.

I was mainly surprised that the line name changed. I remember seeing an article but then when I went back to find it I couldn't find any new Shodo figures. I started to think I just dreampt it up until I found some e-bay preorders referring to them as shodo and then stumbled onto the amiami preorder.

I am also selling off some of my SHODO duplicates from ordering the cases. If anyone is interested the one I have available are listed on my facebook page. $12 + shipping for Ultraman and Kamen Rider and $15 + shipping for DBZ. I have some loose ones not listed here as well.

Not looking forward to the case breakdown on this one with a complete Auto Vajin taking half the wave by itself and like most cases there's not enough room for 2 complete sets.

Faiz is really nice! Sadly the silver parts are not complete, again.

BTW, the Kuuga wave just arrived here. Both Kuugas are nice (despite the skinny forearms lol), but I expected a more vivid red on Mighty Form. Kiva is beatiful, but needs some paint touchs (damn, he is missing some BLACK applications...). And mr. Takeshi Hongo is amazing! Great sculpture, likeness and paint, it just misses the eyes and an ab crunch.

EDIT: oh, yeah, French Shocker-man is nice too! He will stand out among my mini Shocker arm.
