Awesome looking dog! Best of luck with him.

I'd post my dog, but this is the DC section and she's named after an X-Men (Rogue).

Depends on what you're looking at in terms of scale. DCD figures are always larger than Mattel figures. DCD Sapphire Wonder Woman, Indigo 1, and Saint Walker are all almost a head taller than the average DCUC male figure.
So if you want Nightwing to be about a head shorter than Batman, then go with Mattel.

I could be wrong, but I *think* I heard there's a few more waves in the wing?

I hope so. Because while I'm not a big batfan, there are still quite a few characters they need to make. (Although Poison Ivy in the subscription service, as opposed to Legacy worries me about that).

We still need Ventriloquist and Scarface, We still need an oversized Killer Croc (since we'll never get the BaF), Ra's, Talia. We still have two Batgirls left, as well as Tim's Red Robin. Riddler in the suit desparately needs reissuing. Twoface needs either a reissue or a new figure. A new Scarcrow I believe has been demanded repeatedly (Though I'm happy with my Sinestro Corps Scarecrow). And while it doesn't appeal to me, even I'll agree the more hardcore fans need a Dick & Damian Batman & Robin.

...I've barily ever read Batman... why the hell do I want so many figures from his family?

I think there needs to be a mass produced Red Hood and I would love a Damian Wayne Robin I may just get the 2 pak one. DCD Killer Crock will be just fine for me. I have the SH Two Face. I hope for a re-release but every time they do its some odd ball coloring which is why I am wondering what the re-release of Steel is going to look like. We also need a Jason Todd Robin.

i would love a red hood to as well as damian even though hes a smartass he reminds me some of jason todd in the 80s and crazy j i know what ur talking about i buy marvel select figures and im a batman fan but some of them look really cool like gambit and deadpool

kenm2474 02-21-2012 10:53 PM

I have been tempted to buy Deadpool but have always pulled back. I want to buy Captain America and Thor but again Pull Back. I dont need to start collecting Marvel Figures. I am happy enough with my DC Craze.

I'd prefer a DCD Arkham Nightwing. Do we know if they have any plans on making one?

That Croc is detailed as all get out. Extremely impressive toy, and his size would work really well with DCUC.
But as Croc, I dunno. The design doesn't work for me.
But then, I always think Killer Croc works better the more human he is. Maybe because my first, and the bulk of my exposure to him is through TAS.

But then, I'll also admit, there are not many Arkham City designs I really like.
Don't like Joker, don't like Harley, don't like Bane, LOVE ROBIN, and I also really like Freeze. Batman and Nightwing are more or less iconic, just more detailed. (Saw the Legacy Arkham Nightwing today, and it's a great looking toy. If I missed the All-Star reissue, I'd definately be coveting it)

I'm sorry, I don't have any idea. While I usually do know a few things about what Mattel has coming down the pike, I'm afraid I don't know hardly anything about what DC Direct is planning.

I like Mattels better. His weapons can store on his back. DCD Nightwing can not.

What Damien Wayne figure are you talking about? Oh, and I'm guessing Red Hood/Jason will be seeing the light of day eventually, but he'll probably be an exclusive.

DCD Damian Wayne. JasonTodd/Red Hood is a dream so far not a reality yet unless you want to pay a Customizer to make one for you.

batsfan 02-21-2012 11:21 PM

i like both night wings really but maybe one day they will have a red hood made oh well just have to wait to get on custimized

kenm2474 02-21-2012 11:36 PM

Getting one Customized lets you get one the way you want not the way Mattel/DCD wants. I sent mine back because I wanted to add some straps to the lower part of his jacket to make him totally show accurate. You cant do that with Mattel/DCD.

darksied2012 02-21-2012 11:45 PM

no you can't my friend at least back i n the day kenner tried to please customers but not mattel
