What would people say is the best Venom figure available right now?

It depends on which era, I suppose. I’m no Venom fan, so anything I say should be viewed with that squarely in mind. I like the Venom from the Absorbing Man Wave and the tweaked re-release from the Monster Venom wave as fair approximations of Mcfar’s Spider Man #300 Venom. But if you prefer a more modern iteration of the character, and don’t mind the height and toes, the two pack Venom that came with Knull is pretty solid.

I finished playing Spider-Man 2 a little bit ago. Aside from some tedious boss fights, and glitches up the ass, the game was damn good. Another truly exceptional Spider-Man experience.

I forgot about that one despite having it. It’s on the Omega Red body, correct? Which would give it a little more height than the Absorbing/Monster Venoms which are on the old Hyperion/large mold…

I wish we could get an updated McFarlane Venom. I still think he had given us the best Venom design ever. Although, the video game design was pretty badass.

I played it back in November and also very much enjoyed it but was somehow spared of any major bugs/glitches. The only one I remember was that when I switched costumes with Miles the effects (web-wings) were still for the prior. I'd like to see figures done for these versions of Kraven and Venom but worry that Hasbro will wait until over a year after the game's release just like they did with Mr Negative.

Too hulking for me, but for Venom fans it's likely perfect.

Picked up Kingpin for $7.49 at Target today. They also had some of the other figures from the wave marked down that low as well. Hopefully they'll start stocking the Void BAF wave soon.

For glitches, I had quite a few. During the flashback scene in the school, when the game told me to jump to the ceiling after Peter went through the vents a few times he jumped through the wall to the outside of the school. I had to reload the checkpoint to get back in there. During the battle on the pier when Mr Negative is getting away, the game froze up after Peter swung off while belittling Miles. Then in one of the Hunter bases Peter went through the smoke stack and ended up on the opposite end of the map in the middle of the river. He also got stuck in a pipe when he and Harry were trying to save Tombstone.

I've yet to see the pack go on sale at either of my local stores or even on their site (admittedly I've rarely checked up on it there) which does strike me as a bit odd given it's been out for some time now.

I haven't popped on in a bit. I hope everyone is well. I totally ordered two Angles so I can stick one of the blue heads from the deluxe Archangel on it and have a late 90's looking Warren. Now watch, they'll do a blue costume version with multiple heads.

Stopped at Walmart on the way home, they had the whole 97 wave, I picked up Storm, I swapped the head from the retro card storm onto the new body, and gave her the Goblin BaF Black Cat feet. The new mohawk head is going on the Apocalypse BaF wave Storm body. For Wolverine I dry brushed some black paint on his arms. I may go back for Bishop and Magento

Would not at all shock me if we got some sort of early 70s era box set with blue Angel, a redone Bronze Age Cyclops on the Vulcan buck, and maybe a new human Beast.
