How about an update to Man-Wolf? With some effort put in, he’d make an amazing figure.

I also loved that story as a child; I think they were fused for a couple of issues. The story had a few genuine moments of sympathy for their combined form. That initial JRJR run was the gateway drug that established my love for his art and cemented me as a collector. Well, that and a handful of other titles.

I’d love a Manwolf…BAF or otherwise.

Captain Nash 02-11-2024 11:21 AM

Why is everyone else ignoring Stegron? :D

Ya'll saw how well Sauron turned out...we need another Wer-dino.

Side note - Amazon had the Super Adaptoid for just under $50 yesterday so I went ahead and purchased one. There's still more for anyone who's been holding off. $50 is the price it should have been originally IMO and I'm fine with paying that versus the outrageous $70 that was the original price.

EvilMonkeyPope 02-11-2024 12:10 PM

We really need a Cap Wolf made with effort & not just an alt head.

Veronica Mars 02-11-2024 12:23 PM

How about a Savage Land/Dinosaur wave?

Dinah Soar
Reptil
Moon Girl
Moon-Boy
Shana
Brainchild
Saurian Troop builder

BaF
Devil Dinosaur

Accompanying 2 packs
Kazar & Zabu
Arsenic & Old Lace

TheBlueMarvel 02-11-2024 01:05 PM

I only want/need Shana, Kazar, Nabu, and, maybe, Devil dino.

StuartGreen2019 02-11-2024 01:23 PM

I wouldn't mind a wave of Marvel's Monsters and Mutations.

Dracula (Gene Colan)
Werewolf by Night
Frankenstein's Monster
Morbius
Elsa Bloodstone
Cap Wolf
Spider-Lizard
Man-Spider or Harpy could be the Build-A-Figure.

I'd say Baron Blood, Satana and Mephisto, but I don't know how likely any of those characters would be. N'Astirh would be cool too, but the only real media I know him from is the "Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge" video game.

Going back to the idea of a new Spider-Man Build-A-Figure wave, I could see Stegron making the cut. I'd also say Crusher Hogan, Man-Mountain Marko, Gibbon, Grizzly, Walrus, Spidercide, Batwing, one of the Spider-Slayers, a Sinister Syndicate/armored Rhino, some kind of Sandman (maybe the green-and-yellow suit?) and a proper Doppelganger all have a good shot. I'd add in characters like Ox, Bloodshed and Black Tarantula, but I'd rather see them get solo releases, however unlikely they would be, and see Ox be part of an Enforcers boxed set with Spidey and the Big Man. I also want a few more lesser-known villains like Ringmaster, Fusion (from Paul Jenkins' underrated "Peter Parker: Spider-Man" run) and the Spot to get figures soon. Purple-and-blue suit Boomerang, a new Speed Demon with brighter suit colors, a better Hydro-Man without a pointed chin and with alternate normal arms, and Overdrive are also still needed for Sinister Syndicate and "Superior Foes" fans.

Also, going back to what jwyss234 said, I can understand why you'd disagree with my comments about what could get made for the "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" two-packs. I can easily see the VHS two-packs for that ending this year, but it'd be a shame and a huge wasted opportunity if we didn't get fan-requested characters like Chameleon, Mysterio, Vulture and Felicia Hardy. Morbius and Spider-Carnage would be great too. I still want a repainted animated Shocker with human eyes, though. I believe the color changes to the costume and new head with human eyes instead of the small eye lenses would justify it. It would be even better if they actually painted the lines on Shocker's "quilted" costume this time. I could also see them doing a "Movie Star Spider-Man" release, maybe with Spider-Carnage or Stan "The Man" Lee.

I'd like Arsenic (Gert) & Old Lace, or really any other Runaways to go with Nico.

In that vein I'd like a new updated Hellcat

I got some DC stuff for cheap, so I gave Storm a new base and lightning effect and swapped in the 3 pack Dazzler, kinda odd she got Spinneret's well-crawling hands

I’d absolutely *love* Stegron. He’s always been one of my favorite Spider-Man bad guys. I mean … he’s a dinosaur man. What isn’t awesome about that?

Yes please! Ka-Zar, Shanna, & Zabu are top wants of mine. I’d also love to get some Savage Land Mutates & Garrokk in an X-Men wave.

I’d kill for some Marvel Monsters. Hopefully the “Strange Tales” wave Rektangular mentioned in his last video could get us some.

N’Kantu, Manphibian, classic Blade, classic Brother Voodoo come to mind too. It’s almost totally uncharted territory for the line … Scarecrow, Golem, Devil-Slayer, the entire Night Shift. What about an N’Garai BAF for an X-Men wave?

I think Baron Blood has a better shot than Satana or Mephisto or Lilith. And of course we know the situation on Daimon Hellstrom.

Also, *awesome* Spider-Man deep cuts, Stuart.

Captain Nash 02-11-2024 05:20 PM

Ya'll know I'm just joking with you about not mentioning Stegron. I definitely would want a figure of him but I also get he's fairly obscure. Can't see me buying a Spider Man wave for any other BAF, though I'd be sure to still get Spot, Calypso and Squid if released.

We want you to get your Stegron, Nash, but there might be a few things we want before you get yet another wish granted! You’ve been on a few years long run as it pertains to getting your avatars made. Maybe, after Graviton, you should make it Stegron? ;)

I could go for Old Lace and Gerti. It’d blow less of a hole in sculpting budgets than Devil... I also want a better Hellcat. But a Gargoyle or Devil Slayer would make me happier. More Defenders and a new Val (while we’re at it) possibly on the Power Princess mold.

Please don’t mention Hellstrom and how we will likely never get him after the Engine of Failure. However, if you are going to invoke the pain of not getting a Daimon, I appreciate the balm that is the call for a N’Garai. That’s an Xmen nod that I can 1000% get behind.

I’ll take that Baron Blood as well, please..

StuartGreen2019 02-11-2024 11:54 PM

@Ultra Seven - Thanks for the reply, I'm glad you liked my "deep cuts". Looking back at my post, I can't believe I forgot to list Calypso with the others. Since we got Kraven, we need Calypso to go along with him - but then again, we need a new, better Kraven with a different head sculpt too. If they wanted to, they could give us an alternate Aloysha Kravinoff head sculpt to go along with his dad Sergei.

WallySparks 02-12-2024 04:27 AM

there's a humanoid dinosaur lizard man figure from a different action figure toyline thats similar to Marvel's Stegron

WallySparks 02-12-2024 04:29 AM

thats pretty much close enough to a Stegron action figure in my opinion

Dr Kain 02-12-2024 06:22 AM

That looks nothing like Stegron though...

TheBlueMarvel 02-12-2024 07:35 AM

Black Tarantula could also be a Spidey BAF. A smaller one since he's 7' in the books. They could potentially reuse the Warpath mold, or the 80’s Cable body for a properly sized BT..

WallySparks 02-12-2024 03:46 PM

My pre order of the Marvel Legends X-Men 97 Wolverine figure finally got shipped earlier today. Ill be excited when it comes in the mail later this week or the weekend

Surprisingly they sold out. When is the last time ANYTHING Marvel Legends sold out at Pulse?

EDIT: Looks like Pulse didn't stock that many. 1400 carded figures and 950 scooter packs.

Just curious...how are you finding out stock checks?

It's not the cast I wanted but it's far from the worst it could be

I just enable the Web Dev Tools in Firefox and search for "Reserved". Tap Enter until it cycles through and lands at or near "reserved_quantity". Pulse switched to a Shopify back end so it can get a little all over the place. All their product listings are set up as HasLabs and they just disable a ton of crap for live listings. But, that method usually works.

TheBlueMarvel 02-14-2024 02:04 PM

I'm pretty stoked about Pedro as Reed...

On the subject of new Legends, I'm surprised no one has chimed in on the soon to drop Falc-Cap, with wings, this time around. I can understand some saltiness over the nearly 10 year wait for this simple update, but hey, there's no time like the present...

It looks good, from what I've seen and I'll be nabbing it for sure.
