I got some new flight stands on Amazon, 12 for $20, surprisingly good. I expected I was going to have to send them back and keep looking, but they're working. I'm especially fond of the smaller base, it takes up less real estate on the shelf

How well does the base support the figure if they are leaned forward or backward? I've gotten a couple orders of the KO Bandai stands. They aren't bad and have a lot of capabilities. They are about $20 for 8. Though two years ago they were 10 for $20.

While the base is a bit larger they can pull off some great flying poses.

Man I wish Banpresto would use stands this small or like it for their statues. They are so big and take up so much space.

They do pretty good, you just have to make sure the weight of the figure is over the center of the base

That is a good possibility. Personally I'm hoping for more X-Men stuff. I'd love to see a Psylocke 3 pack; her pink outfit with the puffy sleeves, her AO Armor and either the Mystery in Madripoor costume or her Captain Britain uniform. Or a Betsy/Kwannon 2 pack. I'd love to see the rumored Mystique/Destiny pack too

If it was a First Avenger Captain America, I would be sorely tempted, the one from 2011 is awful haha

There's some good and some meh. I'm not loving the new face on Wolfsbane. I feel like Doc Strange is odd to include with Morbius, it should have been Blade or Black Cat/Felicia. I suppose I can use Black Winter's hair to update Medusa?(They really need to revisit and fix her)

I was definitely hoping for more X-Men stuff. Dan mentioned an X-Force retro card wave, maybe that's how we're getting Feral? They could do X-Treme and Gideon in that wave too

Maybe I'm grasping at straws but the story arc that featured Red Widow also had Shanna and Zabu so maybe they will release her alongside it as a fan channel exclusive to get around some of the potential issues with the costume?

The Zola 2 pack and SHIELD 3 pack are definite pickups for me. I might have to get the whole Zabu wave too, first full ML wave in a while if so.

Honestly I only know Red Widow from the winter guard turning she hulk into the winter hulk, and I haven't actually read the story just skimmed the pictures

Let's the BAF be an X-Men beast creature, but only have three figures of the wave be X-Men related. That makes total sense.

I'll get Wolfsbane for sure, but the rest are easy passes. Is that Cable new pinless? What version is that from?

To say I am disappointed in the reveals is an understatement. I'm happy folks who want Ka-Zar and Wolfsbane will finally get them, but everyone else left me underwhelmed. Prowler looks off and is a Wal-Mart exclusive. Carnage's head sculpt is incorrect, there's no Cletus Kasady alternate head, and even worse, he's a Target exclusive. Morbius and Doctor Strange being paired together makes no sense at all and makes me worried we may not even get a Felicia Hardy figure before the wave ends. Everyone knows I hate, hate, HATE Hydra Cap, so he's obviously a skip. The same goes for Superior Iron Man. I wish we'd gotten a better two-pack for Wolverine's anniversary than the lame Spider-Man/Wolverine two-pack shown, though thankfully we are getting more Wolverine stuff later this year. I was hoping for a classic Nick Fury alternate head for the three-pack, though knowing Hasbro, we'll probably see him in a two-pack with a Spider-Man animated series hero or villain that he never even met on the series. I also have no idea who Red Widow is and know nothing about the Black Winter Thor look, but both figures are a pass for me.

Also, does anyone find it unintentionally hilarious that they kept showing us the animated Spider-Man figure from Wal-Mart that was frustratingly hard to find in photos with Morbius and Doctor Strange, yet we haven't even gotten a Spider-Man figure of any kind for this year's animated series wave? Not even an Armored Spider-Man or Octo-Spidey? Typical Hasbro.

If the rumored "Secret Wars" wave is true, I'm really hoping for some much needed updates and re-releases of classic characters like Captain America, Doctor Doom, Doc Ock, Iron Man with a Jim Rhodes head and some fun surprises like Colossus (an updated solo release, not the two-pack with Juggernaut version), Cyclops, Rogue, She-Hulk, Thor, Enchantress, Lizard, Absorbing Man, Titania and the Wrecking Crew. I need to see some A-list classic characters back on shelves so I can finally get some classic characters that I missed out on added to my collection.
