Some great reveals. Another character for the Marvel vs Capcom display.

Wow. that wave is....whew. Will get Red Widow just for a stand in for Crimson Cowl, as I mentioned way back in the initial reveal.
That is NOT the Wolfsbane face look I was hoping for, though it is in the X-Factor outfit. I was hoping for the more human looking version, but still with some of the wolf-likeness creeping in. She had shorter hair with that version. On the other hand, it's almost certainly the only shot we're going to get with an X-Factor Wolfsbane so I'll probably get her as well. I'm glad that everyone who wanted Kazar and Zabu are getting them. Black Winter Thor is definitely an interesting take on the character and I might get him on discount. It does concern me a little we're getting Cable and Wolfsbane in this wave...it's the first "mixed" wave we've had in quite some time and it's concerning that we may not be getting a second X-Men wave this year? Surely that can't be the case. Was really hoping for a Nefaria reveal but oh well, the year is not even a 6th over yet. |
There will probably be an Excalibur Wolfsbane with ponytail head & darker fur after everyone buys this one.
Now that they'res redoing Ka-Zar & Zabu, I hope they remember that there are two separate Shanna The She-Devils. (Even Marvel got confused.) Ka-Zar is married to the redhead in a leopard print not the blonde in snakeskin. Don't repeat the SDCC set mistake. |

I got to say, that most of the offerings are great. I see about ten figures from what is shown are must haves. Carnage just looks wicked, and Zabu looks amazing. Can't wait to see most of these in my hand. I think Hasbro did very, very, good on most of the reveals.

Wolfsbane yes, about damn time for her. At last, the 90s X-Factor team is completed.
|
Obviously they're going to reuse Wolfsbane's upper arms and her legs for Feral, will we also see her sister Thornn? We've got Toad, Blob, Pyro and Sauron. We need Masque, Phantazia and Thornn to finish that iteration of the Brotherhood.
5 more to complete the Winter Guard. Can we also get back to the Serpent Society |
Stoked to finally get Wolfsbane. I know they said they closed out the team, but I would like to get another Quicksilver that isn't in a three pack.
I'm glad they're continuing the animated Spidey line. But I really wish they would finish the Animated X-men team in the VHS boxes. I know some were put off by the shading, but I liked them. We just need Gambit, Rogue, Beast and Professor X. I think the new animated show screwed me on that one. |

Carnage is an easy pass. The Not sure why we need another Zemo, but okay. I was hoping Zola was going to be a new mold when I read your post, but it doesn't look like it, so that's a bummer. I'll pick it up on sale though, and it being an Amazon set means it'll go on sale a few months after it's release. Not a fan of how that Fury and Dum Dum look, but that Sharon is atrocious. I do not like her headsculpt at all. I would have been down for an animated Morbius on his own, but not as a required two pack, especially since Doctor Strange looks inferior to the Walmart one. No interest in the FF Spidey and Wolvy at all. Those aren't how they looked when I read them as being the Fantastic Four. |

Also...why is Wolfsbane that color? Between her and retro card Tigra is like Cheetos and Doritos |
They can always be a re-release in a 90s X-Factor box set with some repaints.

Yes, Wolfsbane needs brown fur, and I would like a new Multiple Man in the same 90s X-Factor costume but with a green trench coat.

But if we're going Shard? Sabretooth, Mystique and Wild Child would have to be thrown into it as well. The mid to late 90s were weird. |

I wonder why they're dragging their feet on completing the core Outback team. They have nearly all pieces Colossus - AoA baf torso and lower legs, 2 pack Arms and upper legs. They might need to tool new knees. Psylocke - 97 Goblin Queen torso, Lilandra arms and legs, Scarlet Witch cape and a new head Storm - 97 arms, literally any pinless legs. A new hair piece and maybe a new torso if they don't just do the lightning bolt as a deco hit Just do it and take our money already |

Outback tends to get overshadowed by the 90s and more modern stuff, which is where the bulk of Hasbro’s X-Men attention seems to be with the mutants.

Not even a little surprising

Pretty soon, Hasbro is gonna make it so that sleeping on figures is gonna be a bad idea. The ball is in our court now. How consumers will respond should be interesting. |

Waves full of deep cuts going to fan channels makes sense. It’d be great if we got another Bad Guys wave this way.
