Good choice, Psylocke has always been my favorite X-Men characters, Betsy and Kwannon

I grew up with Betsy in Kwannon's body so I prefer psychic ninja Psylocke. Still cheeses me she was a minor villian in all the cartoons despite being a prominent member of the team in the Jim Lee era that the 92 show was based on and in every video game.

Especially when Evolution and WATXM lacked Asian representation in the cast at all like 92 had with Jubilee.

Thought about getting Nightcrawler and Shadowcat as well since I also grew up with Evolution but the lack of Spyke/Marrow would haunt me too much. And stoping at 10 makes the gender balance equal on the team which I like.

I must say, I love the Storm you put together…

They've shipped so many things out a month or two prior to their estimate release date, that I almost take it as a strong possibility it happens. We've had a few releases that come later than estimated, but aside from the 2020/2021 covid related issues and cargo getting stuck in canal issues, it's pretty rare. So I'm not surprised at all this stuff is shipping now.

If anyone is looking for the 2nd wave of X-men 97 figures and hasn't had any luck with Target, maybe start looking at Walmart. Found the entire wave on the shelves, today. Only picked up Maddie for now, as I found a lonely Jean earlier in the week at GameStop.

That's wild Target is selling Walmart's exclusive gray Black Widow but not its own exclusive BW with extra heads.

I envy the guys who have Walmarts that actually update their stock.

Pretty much, about the only thing my Walmart regularly stocks are groceries.

Which is why I don't use retail as an indicator of my favorite lines performance and give myself needless anxiety.

I got my Goblin Queens today, one is going to be the base for Outback Psylocke, the other is being split into different displays. We are not going to talk about the bizarre @$$ skintone that I will eventually fix. The first 3 pics are Outback Maddie, I repainted the 97 Jean hair and used a retro card Lady Jaye body. Then I used the retro card Dark Phoenix head for the Goblin Queen.

In fairness I think it's that pale to give her an unnatural "evil" look.
