Apparently I'm horrible at differentiating colors online. I thought Jitsu was red when his toy is actually bright orange.

It depends on the lighting too. I've seen dozens of pics and videos of Goblin Queen online and none of it prepared me for that color in person

Yeah, Maddie's skin color is...odd. Its a decent figure overall, but I wish they toned it down. Even if it's like "demon/evil" skin, it's a lot.

I don't think Hasbro has even made Marvel Legends figures of Iron Man bad guys like Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man or even Stane.

While it is nice that there's a Marvel Select figure of Titanium Man, Habsro really needs to make human bad guys for Iron Man for Marvel Legends.

TheBlueMarvel 03-13-2024 10:57 AM

Hasbro has made figures for Crimson Dynamo V (Valentin Shatalov) and Titanium Man (a more modern iteration):

https://www.ebay.com/itm/39492921086...4aAsigEALw_wcB

...they also made MCU Stane:

WallySparks 03-13-2024 12:22 PM

THeyre more of the movie versions. They don't count.

I'm talking about accurate comic book bad guys of Iron Man that Hasbro needs to make for Hasbro Legends.

at least Marvel Select has a good looking Titanium Man that's comic book accurate

I feel the same way about MCU figs, but I also find the civilians to be useful.

I also agree about the Select Titanium Man, and the Select Crimson Dynamo is nothing short of amazing as well.

However, the Hasbro figs for modern Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo V, Valentin, ARE comic accurate. As I see it, the only real problem with them is that the scale is wrong for both. The Valentin Dynamo still holds up as a standout figure with greater detail and tooling than most figures Hasbro produces today.

En Sabah Nerd 03-13-2024 03:00 PM

Hasbro did a comic Iron Monger BAF back in the ROML run, it was largely reused for the Mandroid and the legs for the Crimson Dynamo BAFs.

Boy am I glad I waited for this set to go on sale. Right out of the box Sersi is super gummy, thank goodness for flight stands. And the paint apps on Dane's face are not good. I mean that lipstick is a summer shade and he is clearly an autumn

To accurately complete this team we need Crystal in her black and white costume, Bomber Jacket Cap and clean shaven Herc

Ah yes, back in the days when everyone wore a short leather jacket that's 2 sizes too small.

I blame Rogue for starting that trend

WallySparks 03-13-2024 04:47 PM

Rogue wasn't the one that started the whole leather jacket phase in Marvel comics.

Dazzler, Wolverine and others did that before Rogue

Not in the 90s which is the era we're talking about, and not as part of their costumes, thanks for playing, come again.

Got a notice from Hasbro Pulse Angel and the Wolverine/Psylocke pack are preparing to ship. THat's great news. Always will take something earlier than expected.

Got the Goblin Queen the other day and agree with the comments about the off-ness of her skin tone. But as mentioned, maybe it's being that she's got bad juju powers and go with it. I knew from the promo pictures that she was off color, but it still is slightly annoying.

WallySparks 03-14-2024 06:24 AM

Just watched a youtuber do a video of the cowboy hat Logan vs Sabretooth pack and Deluxe Angel.

Angel's wings are what makes the figure great. the wings are massive for the figure.

as for the cowboy hat Wolverine/Logan, the head sculpts are kind of lame since one has a minor difference which is a smirk and that's it. the only figure that's even worth having from that pack is Sabretooth

I got emails about the 3 2 packs but nothing about Angel

Does anyone happen to have a Spinneret they're looking to get rid of?

WallySparks 03-14-2024 08:44 AM

didn't know about the Secret Empire Captain America from Walmart's collector thingy til yesterday. New news to me anyway. Never read Secret Empire though so Ill pass on the Marvel Legends Secret Empire Captain America since I never read the comic in the first place

Angel's wings are how NECA should have done the Gargoyles wings.

Angel's wings really bug me. They just took 3 flat planks, sculpted on some feathers and plugged them together. Seems like they could contoured and concaved them a bit. For some actual winglikedness. The connection point could have also benefited greatly from the 3 panels nesting. So it wasn't an inch thick.

That's Marvel Legends though. Take something that you KNOW they could totally deliver perfection on. That wouldn't cost them a penny more. Then just laze out.

WallySparks 03-14-2024 04:24 PM

Besides the new blue Secret Empire Captain America Marvel Legends figure coming soon

wasn't there an all green Marvel Legends figure of Secret Empire Captain America from a couple of years ago? I could've sworn there was

Do you mean Hydra Supreme?

I picked up the Infinity Saga stealth suit Steve for clearance at Target. I remember being real hyped when this assortment leaked and then having a deflating-balloon moment when the official reveal was just a paint update on the figure from 2014. They couldn't be bothered to include an extra non-stealth regular red circled shield to represent the Triskelion scenes so then not even throwing in the other hands that the original came with feels real cheap. I'm definitely glad I waited for clearance given the minimum of effort on display here but at the same time this is probably my favorite MCU Cap outfit so I am happy to add him to the collection.

WallySparks 03-14-2024 05:56 PM

that looks like someone photoshopped and changed the colors for the Civil Warrior figure

I think the wings look fantastic Not sure what you mean by them doing better as this is even better than what Mattel did with Hawkman and gang.
