If those 6 were to be Sub figures Riddler Jordan would have been the end of me. I'd have not bought for 2015.

Payment question, I ordered my doomsday, did they put back the money into the account till the figure ships or once it's taken out, it's been paid for?

Nope they kept your money... You know they are holding it for ransom till they ship the figures. You might get the Shipping cost back though

I got that Damien Robin December 23rd very under impressed all they did was take Beast Boy put a new head on add a cape and repaint

- head
- cape
- belt (w/lower tunic)
- forearms
- hands
- shins
- feet

I think it was a good recipe unless you prefer your Damien shorter and/or skinnier. I'm glad he got newly sculpted boots.

It's more or less the same extending the Tunic only makes it look different at the Base it is the same figure as was Kid Flash. I wish they had gone shorter and less toned.

you can't sugar coat it. They aren't allowing cancellations, changes, or shipping. For lack of a better term they have people by the balls. It's what they did with the Subs. "We have you're credit card numbers, We can do what we want."

thats the one DCUC figure we really should have gotten, General Zod. You would have thought he would have been high on Mattels list in 2013.

Hell, Mattel should have had a Superman Legacy line for when Man of Steel came out like they did with Rises and even GL. But nope, why take advantage of the movie coming out?

YES ! I absolutely agree !
I actually got into a long-running argument with a guy at another forum (I wasn't an Arker yet, at that time) about how I thought Mattel needed a Superman Legacy/Unlimited/Classics line to accompany the Man of Steel Movie Masters.

Summarily, he argued that all the important Superman villains had already been released, and that they didn't warrant re-releases, repaints, or even new versions. He also felt that if Mattel followed the Batman Legacy approach and released figures like First Appearance, Silver Age, Elseworlds, etc. versions of Superman, they wouldn't sell well.

I somewhat agreed with the latter, but I pointed out that we still needed Zod, Ursa/Faora/Zaora (whatever), and Non.
I also thought that Livewire, Prankster (maybe using the body of DCUC Wave 10 Joker), and a smaller, non-BAF, modern Metallo would have fit well into the line.
A better Doomsday was on my list as well, but that's one wish that actually came true (well, almost, lol).
Also, since so many missed him initially, a newly sculpted Steel (or even a repaint of him) would have been nice.

Looking back now, I think that that hypothetical line would have been a MUCH better way for Mattel to give us Mxyzpltk. Instead of having to pay $30 for him (), he coulda come packaged with another figure, like how Bat-Mite came with Batman Legacy's Silver Age Batman.

But whatever, I probably shouldn't be focusing so strongly on what might have been :p ...

CMIII 12-29-2014 03:54 PM

All the Important Superman Villains have been released.. I'd say Hardly... We got Mongul, Lex Luthor, Toyman, Captain Boomerange, Cyborg Superman, Paraseit, Metallo, Bizarro, Mr. Myx, and Brainiac (add if there are anymore). We haven't seen any Kryptonian Villains Zod, Feora, Ursa, Non, and Many others, Bloodspot, Kryptonite Man and many other Earth Based. I'd say there are a lot of Superman Universe Characters not done.

As for Superman Varients. I would have loved to have seen 1st Appearance, Earth 2, Red Sun, and Last Son of Earth shoot Mattel gave us so many Batman varients

Ravenxl7 12-29-2014 08:17 PM

I got Arkham City for Christmas, and while I wasn't a big fan of it before, since playing the game the AC batsuit has grown on me. I know both DCD/DCC and Mattel made 6-7" figures based on this design. I plan on getting one of the Multiverse figures, but I was thinking about getting one to go with my small collection of 6" DC figures (still don't have a Batman for that group).

I was wondering if there were any recomendations for which version of AC Batman I should look into getting. I might also get some of the other characters to go with them (like Catwoman and Talia). Also, any version of him have a cloth cape?

The only 6-7 " AC Batman with a cloth cape that I know of was given away as a door prize at a convention by Mattel. It was the 70's bat suit and they only made 1 figure if I remember correctly.

Personally I prefer the DC Collectibles series 4 AC Batman. He came in the same wave as Nightwing and Talia. He had ball jointed hips and double jointed knees. I never really cared for Mattel's version. The arms stuck out to the side and the head never really looked right to me.

Well that's too bad...

I watched a couple of video reviews, and I have to admit, I'm not a fan of the series 4 AC Batman. The added articulation is a nice touch, but the torso looks fugly to me. Kinda loks like his ribs bend outwards.

Sadly, the one I'm liking the look of the best is from the 4-pack with Nightwing, Robin, and Harley. The sculpt is good, has enough articulation for me, and the colors look great.

Dr Kain 12-30-2014 08:54 AM

I think all of Mattel's 4 inch figures look like crap. They look like those bootleg toys you would find in a store in the mall. The faces are down right atrocious.

CMIII 12-30-2014 09:15 AM

the only 4 inch I want is Atom.. If they ever do Dollman and Elasti-Girl maybe. But to do a full run of the Shrinkers.. Would it be Funny if they did Oversized 6 inch versions of Dollman, Apache Chief, Elasit-Girl, Gigantia, and Atom Smasher

305Batman 12-30-2014 09:18 AM

Saw TH Hawkman today, wow,as if the armor lines on his bare chest weren't bad enough, he doesn't have his mace! I'm surprised he has wings! Oh Matty!

kenm2474 01-03-2015 02:09 PM

Is the DCUC doomsday unleashed figure shipping yet from Matty collector?

jwyss234 01-09-2015 01:56 AM

Just got a shipping notice from Mattel that my Doomsday has shipped.
