I was hoping for the Deadpool and Wolverine figures to be today's reveal but alas not. The movie is out in July so those figs should hopefully be revealed sometime.

Oh, joy. Another of my long-requested wishlist figures is getting made... and it's a Wal-Mart exclusive. The Wal-Mart website never let me successfully add the cel-shaded Retro Spider-Man to my cart in the fifteen seconds it was in stock and the Retro Lizard I ordered was mailed to the wrong address and I never got it. I hope I'll be able to get Venom ordered, but given my luck, I'm not holding my breath.

As long as we're getting a non-cel-shaded solo Venom release, does this mean we could please get non-Wal-Mart exclusive, sold-separately updated classic figures for Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Mary Jane, and a Hobgoblin that actually looks like the comic books and not that weird comic/animated hybrid we got previously? I need more classic Spider-Man character figures for my collection. A lot more.

Venom would be worth buying if he had pinless joints. Not sure I need a new one until then.

I not surprised at all. I commend the Hasbro team because they have really been impressing me lately. Ghostrider/bike, Superior-Spiderman, Iron-Fist/Cage, and Warbird have been a few of my favorites as of late. Just when I thought I was going to slow down on the pre-orders, the ML Teams comes out with great figures to drain my wallet. And, can't wait to see the upcoming Hulkbuster, hopefully it is retooled.

Note: Hasbro Team, please Mandarin, I know he will definitely sell out. And, Iron Man 2 Comic Whiplash, which I know will sell out also.

Since the X-Men "97" show now has revealed Wolverine wearing the classic brown outfit and Cylcops wearing his late 1970s early 1980s outfit, I wonder if Hasbro will re-release brown tan outfit Wolverine again and hopefully the frikkin scalpers/hoarders don't nab that figure up like crazy. a few years back when Shopko was about to close, Hasbro had the Marvel Legends Juggernaut build a figure wave around for awhile even at Wealmart where I pretty much didn't have the money to spend at the time.

If Hasbro did another re-relase of brown and tan Wolverine outfit figure, wonder if they'll reuse the unmasked Wolverine head and the mask/hood down accessory piece?

I'm still on episode 7, and i frequent youtube so i just expect to be spoiled at this point. Not that I'm blaming anyone, but it does suck. Not a fan of the weekly waiting so i decided to binge this in chunks.

Also, not to be *that* guy. But Disney themselves have been releasing trailers showing all that stuff. Still sucks.

I'll be watching the episode in a little while, but I'm sure they were going to do a brown suited Wolvy on the 97 body regardless. I hope for a new Byrne Cyclops too. Then we'll just need a new Phoenix and Banshee to complete the team.

well the yellow and blue Wolverine figure its shoulder pads are pegged into the shoulders so the arms aren't going to work well for a newer or re-release of the brown and tan outfit Wolverine figure.

I really want/need a figure of brown and tan outfit Wolverine since I grew up reading some of the original Uncanny X-Men comic in the early 1980s. When Rogue was pretty much Wolverine's sidekick buddy

They'll make new shoulders and possibly new upper arms, if necessary. It's what they did with the Juggernaut BAF wave Wolverine when they made the Tiger Stripe Wolverine for the Apocalypse BAF wave. The tiger stripe did get new arms but I think that was a style choice rather than necessity.

The shoulder pads aren't actually "pegged into" the figure. They're separate pieces with loops that the shoulder pegs go through before plugging into the torso, it's quite simple to just omit them if a future release doesn't need them
