So far, the only Wolverine with shoulder pads like you're describing is the upcoming Astonishing figure. All others, including the '97 figure, have the shoulder pads pegged into the shoulders.

SPOILER

Rogue in her original costume, though hopefully they will have an alternate original comic head included
Brown suit Wolverine (though, we already knew that)
Byrne Cyclops
Updated Storm in her original costume with double jointed elbows, properly colored bracelets, a head with her blue eyes showing
Jean Grey in her Pre-Phoenix costume
Professor X in his wheel chair with his leg blanket

END SPOILER

Get moving on those, k?

Since all of the Wolverine 2 packs have referenced comic book covers on the back of the box, I'm hoping the final 2 pack will be for Uncanny X-Men #173. It'd tie in with X-Men '97 and Secret Wars.

yes they are in fact the shoulder pads are pegged into the shoulders especially the back of the shoulders. I know this for a damn fact since I have the yellow and blue spandex Wolverine X Men 97 figure.

If Hasbro ever gets around to it either making a newer or another re-release of brown and tan outfit Wolverine figure they might make the brown color a little lighter or something.

And as I was saying, they might have to reuse the unmasked head from the yellow and blue outfit Wolverine figure along with the hood/mask accessory piece that hangs back and color it black and brown.

Whenever Hasbro gets around to a Wave 2/Wave 3 of X Men "97", they need to get back to making Series 3 of Age of Apocalypse figures since there's still AOA Gambit, Age of Apocalypse Bishop, Abyss, Sinister with Shadow King in a jar container, and Holocaust/Nemesis would have to be a build a figure though.

also wasn't Cain Marko like a monk in original Age of Apocalypse. Even Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker were in that one Age of Apcacalypse one shot special where Peter didn't have powers since there was no radioactive spider when Age of Apocalypse happened

Looking at my 97 Wolverine, his shoulder pads are definitely separate pieces which means omitting them should not be a big deal

Here's hoping the Friday reveal is Mystique/Destiny

Harbinger 05-10-2024 05:25 AM

Somehow someway i wish they would make a coldblood figure.

ThorOdinson123 05-10-2024 07:26 AM

The reveal was a Venom Let There be Carnage movie Carnage figure. The wait for Deadpool and Wolverine figures continue

Man, this year has been total misfires from Hasbro. There's been very little, which I guess is good.

Veronica Mars 05-10-2024 04:14 PM

Why has there only been one non exclusive release of comic Carol Danver in the last 10 years?

EvilMonkeyPope 05-10-2024 05:09 PM

Aside from Carol's original costume, Hasbro needs to make Dark Captain Marvel & her new suit with removable jacket & energy sword.

The ship date for the animated series Doctor Strange and Morbius 2 pack is now May 15th, according to Pulse.

Captain Nash 05-11-2024 07:37 AM

And the July set Zabu wave is now set for the end of this month or earlier, from Amazon anyways. Red Widow is actually out for delivery today. Wolfsbane is still set for the end of the month but it's entirely possible that will change.

Fingers crossed we get the Iron Man retro wave earlier, but even if not, it's only a little over a month before that's estimated due to ship from Amazon - June 19th estimated.

WallySparks 05-12-2024 08:43 AM

Since the regular Marvel Legends long haired Bishop is a little tough to get cheap off of Amazon or eBay,

what would be a good head replacement to put on the X Men 97 Bishop figure? Ragnarock Heimdall or Multiverse of Madness Mordo head since they have long hair?

Def in for this.

Since Iron Patriot is in the leaks for later this year, I'm hoping we eventually get Carol in her red Ms. Marvel suit with an alternate Moonstone head. Finally getting to complete the Dark Avengers would be great.

Harbinger 05-13-2024 01:47 AM

I dont like this look, especially the jacket. She looks like shes be a circus ringmaster.

StuartGreen2019 05-13-2024 01:35 PM

@Harbinger I wouldn't mind that look for Carol. I just wish Warbird hadn't sold out in under five minutes like all the other Target exclusives. I never was able to find Ant-Man and Black Widow, so I doubt I'll have improved luck with Warbird. That said, since you brought up circus ringmasters, I'm curious when/if Hasbro will give us a figure for Ringmaster. After all, Hasbro loves making lesser-known characters into figures and we usually get figures in suits and ties anyway. Having any of the members of the Circus of Crime would be cool too.

Also, is it just me, or does it seem like news on "Marvel Legends" seems unusually quiet? We're usually supposed to have a Spider-Man wave for the summer and we're likely not going to know what's in the 'Deadpool & Wolverine' wave until the movie is released at this point. (As a side note, I'll be glad when the "surprise cameos" crossover phase of Marvel movies is over and we can actually know who's in the movie, what they look like, and reveal the full wave of figures based on said movie.)

Does anyone remember when the next Marvel Legends reveals are supposed to happen? Comic Con? D23? Something sooner? Maybe a new livestream?

Anyway, thanks for reading. I hope you all had a great weekend and stay safe, everyone.

WallySparks 05-14-2024 12:43 PM

looks like the Marvel Legends figure of John Walker US Agent from the Falcon and Winter Soldier show, is $4.55 at Walmart.

That's pretty darn cheap at Walmart for a Marvel Legends figure

StuartGreen2019 05-14-2024 10:18 PM

I don't know if anyone knew this already, but to those who missed it, the Silk and Doc Ock two-pack is back in stock at Big Bad Toy Store. The link is here: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/produ...details/247880

I'm going to pass and wait for a sold-separately Doc Ock figure, hopefully with bendy wire tentacles instead of the repeated static tentacles. I'm keeping my fingers crossed we'll get a new classic, updated figure for Doctor Octopus sooner than later, especially with the six "Secret Wars" figures coming out this fall.

Hello everyone, and good morning. Question to ML fans. Does anyone know if we will see the Target Warbird and Carnage in stores? I missed the chance to get both of these online through Target. I am going to kick myself if I can not get these.

WallySparks 05-15-2024 08:46 AM

you can get Carnage now from other places online besides Target.

Carnage

AFU 05-15-2024 10:27 AM

Hello, people, Movie Carnage up for preorder at Hasbro Pulse…

Note: The Movie Carnage is not to my liking, wanting the Target exclusive comic Carnage badly, and since it is sold out at Target, I will have to search elsewhere, and thanks for the suggestions for other sites to find the Target Exclusive Carnage…

Most Target exclusives initially sell out on their website but are still available in stores on or near release day. Try to hunt them at retail before you turn elsewhere.

Dr Kain 05-15-2024 08:59 PM

X-Men 97's first season was so damn good despite the pacing issues. I can't wait for the second. I also hope we get some new toys of the older costumes.
