DC's New Convergence stories that'll be being released soon look promising. bringing back 90s appearances of alot of characters and some alot of characters whom have disappeared. Let's not get started about how Marvel has been doing alot of bull with their new series... i do like some of those but they are making WAY to many events as of lately. |
I don't read Marvel. I stopped reading them when they pulled their Brand New Day shit.
And which Lobo? There have been like two of him in the N52. |

Eh, apparently DC thought it was best to start over with a new Lobo after Rob Liefeld got his hands on the first early on in the New 52. New Lobo's design is closer to "50's Greaser" than "Twihard" from what I recall, though I only saw him in a brief appearance in a random issue of Supergirl that I read. Still wasn't impressed.
New 52 has a lot of warts, but I still enjoy it. Never was a DC guy until the reboot, other than Grant Morrison's Batman run just prior to it. I've been fairly selective though, and the only major continuity screw-up I can recall is from early on in Red Hood when there was a brief flashback to a Teen Titans team that apparently couldn't have possibly existed. Then there's the goofy condensed Batman timeline, but that doesn't bother me. It is what it is. I don't see the point in scrutinizing continuity too much, each story arc should be judged on its own merits (IMO, of course). The only thing that personally bugs me about comics these days is when they're forced to resemble the live-action projects. It drove me away from Marvel, and now DC has shoe-horned Diggle and Felicity into Green Arrow. So annoying. Oh, costume redesigns are pretty irritating too. But to stay somewhat on topic, is everyone who bought Mattel's Unleashed Doomsday and Damian Wayne Robin fairly happy with them? Gotta admit, Doomsday looks pretty damn awesome - especially MiSB. Looks like a good display piece. I think if DCC were going to do one, they would've announced it by now. |
the new 52 has its problem for sure.but the univese had gotten so ridiculas pre new 52,the only mistake they did was not going full reboot

The only series i've been following religiously are Batman Eternal, Futures End, and the New Deathstroke series. any other comics from DC i end up buying are just ones that catch my eye here or there. mostly Batman titles. |
aquaman has been great. they took arthur back to his silver age origiin thankfully
|
No, the biggest mistake DC did was not taking advantage of bringing the Multiverse back.
I would still love to know how Flashpoint was originally supposed to end. |

I think he was well worth the $40 + shipping. To be honest, he's probably my favorite DCUC figure since the early waves of the series. I didn't buy Damian, so I can't comment on him, but I'd highly recommend Doomsday. |

I'm thrilled that Dan Jurgens is doing a story about pre-New52 Superman; one that involves Lois Lane being pregnant! I'm sure that this story won't be as momentous as "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow", which was the finale and tribute to Silver Age Superman, but I'm glad to have something that resembles closure for the Superman that I enjoyed so much. |

One thing I really liked about Jurgens and Ordway was that, kinda like John Byrne before them, they wrote AND penciled many of the Superman books that they were involved in. As excited as I am about Jurgens being involved, I would have preferred Grant Morrison to write that issue. Then again, I can't be too upset, because out of all the key Superman writers of the past few decades, I'd prefer Jurgens being involved over some of the others, like Jeff Loeb, Joe Kelly, Geoff Johns, or James Robinson. Those guys wrote some good (along with some bad, lol) Superman stories, but I think that Jurgens is definitely the best choice (well, besides Morrison). |
I just had a great idea for DCC's Batman Animated line. Since they've said that they would consider doing the alternate versions of the charactes, and since they've revealed a Deluxe figure, I think it would be cool to see them do a Deluxe version of Mr. Freeze based on Subzero. Freeze himself would basically be his first design, but then add-in a figure of Nora in that glass case he had her suspended in. They could even put some lights in the base for it.
Also, if they really are doing the TAS Batmobile, I hope that if they alsobranch into Batman Beyond stuff, they then do that show's Batmobile. That thing would be awesome. |
So let's say Mattel is making 6-inch figures for BvS DOJ,NYTF is where we'd see them right? I know it's a longshot but I'm hopeful.

I'd think SDCC is a safer bet, but this is an unusual circumstance where the movie is pretty far in development and I'm sure Mattel has had plenty of time with designs for the characters. We'll see, but I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised in a couple of weeks.

It depends on when they are planning on releasing the toys. If they have plans to start the line this year, I think they have to have something to show off to retailers at Toy Fair. Otherwise they aren't going to get interest from them to carry the line.
Kinda like how we saw Thor: The Dark World toys at the 2013 Toy Fair, even though that line wasn't set for release till late that year. |

Batman Beyond stuff is what I've been hoping to see from the beginning, but it may be way down the line unless they expand and do a separate toyline altogether. As expensive as it would probably be, that flying batmobile would be a must-buy. I'd also personally hope for a battle damaged Batman Beyond, with the red circuitry exposed in patches. I always thought that looked badass in the cartoon. They'd probably end up doing at least one series of Superman: The Animated Series toys before that point, though. Wouldn't mind that either. Superman, Lex (hopefully his business suit), Brainiac, and Lois. They'd all be instant-buys for me. |
if DCC does Doomsday he will be N52 styalized not Original designs (yes I know Unleashed was not the first version). I would pass on N52 Doomsday
