I actually dont really like a Secret Wars Wolverine having boot treads. That bugs me way more than it should hahaha.

I think the animated series/97 claws are the best, followed by the thicker claws from the X-Force/HoX/Return of Wolverine figures. |

From Dan's Twitter today. Looks like DP Legacy Colossus's pre-order isn't the only thing tomorrow

I hope tomorrow's something new is Spider-Man related. After all, August 1st is National Spider-Man Day and we haven't had any new Spider-Man figures revealed for quite a while now. I hope it's at least a Retro Spider-Man Fan Channel item or another VHS two-pack from the '90s animated series.

I reached out to Hasbro about the QC issue with my Superior Spidey, they don't have replacement stock and are sending me something of equal or greater value. Any idea what I should be expecting?

When I reached out to Hasbro because my MCU Okoye had a lot of extra paint/paint defect on her head they sent me MCU Ulysses Klaue. you can check the Marvel Legends Reddit to see what people were sent for various figures that were broken. https://www.reddit.com/r/MarvelLegen...8-ef6fcf77490a |

Anyway, Amazon has now shipped out my Ghost Rider with a delivery of today. https://gifdb.com/images/high/i-give...rw0uryqwyr.gif |
Holy…fudge…
I was just grumbling about how the Endgame Iron Man helmet was a waste of a SKU, and that they should’ve made the Goblin helmet! Maybe I’m clairvoyant… |
Deadpool Colossus is up $39.99

Well now, the son of a bitch actually did arrive:
https://i.imgur.com/rddqLTd.jpg Initial impressions: + Sculpt is great - He's a bit on the short side + Bike looks cool - Like most toys on bikes, he can't actually sit properly + The flame effects for the bike are fantastic, especially the one that lets you lift the bike up - The bike's handle and pedals are so soft and gummy. It makes it hard to get his hands to stay on the handles, especially when the hands are just as gummy. ? You can swap the placement of the pedals (it's a ? because I'm not sure if that's a positive or negative, it's just weird) - Spikes are soft I do hope if they ever revisit the Blaze Ghost Rider they use these new legs and arms. |

you sound just like Shartimusprime on YouTube. whenever a good deluxe figure comes out, he already starts getting picky etc about how the figure looks

But truth be told, I'm at a point where I'd much rather have the comic figures rather than the movie figures. If Dwight called to ask if I wanted comic figures from New X-Men and X-Treme X-Men OR Fox movie figures in their leather suits, I'd choose the comic figures. |

Also, obviously Shartimus is going to discuss the figure's positives and negatives, that's his fucking job!! Have a good day, mein fuhrer. Heil Trumpler. |
ANYWAYS. Do we know when the Crystal/Lockjaw thing will go on preorder? Did they mention?
|
Got my Goblin helmet preordered! January 2025 is the estimated shipping date, gonna be a long wait

Before I reply about toys, I'd like to wish everyone sick from attending SDCC with Covid well. It's so sad to read of the new "SDCC variant" of Covid that so many have caught being at the Con. Dan Yun, writer Melissa Flores and the living legend Marv Wolfman, a.k.a. the creator of Blade, Black Cat, Bullseye, Cyborg, Raven and "Crisis on Infinite Earths", are all confirmed to have Covid, among many others. I wish them all the best and a full, speedy recovery. I had Covid last year for seven weeks and still have half the stamina I used to after being sick with it.
Getting back to "Marvel Legends", it was said that Danny Ketch was supposed to be small in Hasbro's height scale, as was Warbird. I think it was Dwight who said that in an interview, but please don't quote me on that. To add to what jwyss234 wrote, I always prefer comic figures over movie figures, but I'd gladly take more Fox X-Men in their black leather suits, especially Wolverine, Storm, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Iceman and Rogue. I was so disappointed that none of them got made four years ago for the 20th anniversary year wave for 'X-Men: The Movie'. I also really wanted an Ian McKellen Magneto and Kelly Hu Lady Deathstrike. I loathe 'X-Men: The Last Straw'... er, 'The Last Stand', so I could care less about figures from that film. Hopefully we'll see the original trilogy X-Men cast return and in comic accurate X-Men suits in that world shown from 'The Marvels', maybe for 'Avengers: Secret Wars'. As far as New X-Men figures, the only one I'd be down for would be Xorn. I hated that run on X-Men. Cat Beast, jacket/shirtless black leather Logan, Cyclops' impossibly too-skinny-to-see-out-of lens for his visor, and double-sided tape suit White Queen aren't exactly must-haves for my collection, but I can see why so many want those figures. If they make them, I hope you guys buy them. I'll just sit those out, thank you. P.S. As it's August 1st, Happy National Spider-Man Day, True Believers! |
