well when people start pissing and moaning about how "small" Danny Ketch Ghost Rider or any other figure look, that's when those people start reminding me of the annoying YouTuber Shartimusprime. I swear he's drunk all the time or something where he cant even ask a question right when interviewing those Hasbro guys

WallySparks 08-01-2024 09:16 PM

new youtube video of Shartimusprime already making a big stink about ball jointed necks and ball jointed heads in the beginning of the video among other things. Him and that stupid hairdo

Funnily(?) enough, I never really watched they guy’s content until literally today (though I knew his name), because he put up a video about the Goblin helmet reveal. He started rambling about throwing the pumpkin bombs at his kids, then tried to make a joke out of it and got really awkward and uncomfortable, so I can definitely see how one might think he’s constantly intoxicated haha

FANTASTIC!

Also Dwight said they made Danny shorter on purpose, so he seems short cause he is

Harbinger 08-02-2024 06:38 AM

Speaking of ghost rider id live to see the classic john blaze ghost rider where hes goth the long front forks chopper look. Heres to hoping vengeance and blaz arent too far behind.

Theres something about shartimus that gives me bobcat goldthwait-vibes. But i do think beneath the surface of his schtick, he seems to actually be fairly knowledgeable and okay enough (as far as not being a raging asshole).

The thing for me with Shartimus is that he cares way too much about what the collecting community thinks of him, so he waffles back and forth been his actual opinion and trying to convince his viewers he's not a shill and apologist and it makes everything a bit disjointed. That is just his legends content, I don't watch his reviews on stuff I don't collect

Dude, you made n@@i-ist related comments about it. You don't get to just walk that shit back like it was nothing. We're tired of your overblown dramatic outbursts here. Act like the adult you are, and for gods sake stop giving the rest of us liberals a bad name.

And no, I think not. I will say whatever the hell I want to say when I want. Also, I'm not a liberal because fuck liberals and fuck conservatives. They're all cuckoo for cocoa puffs. But anyone that thinks they get the right to speak to me in the manner Wally did will get it right back and more. No one talks to me that way!

Anyway, is it weird that I am considering the Mafex Phoenix over the new Hasbro one?

Nah i can believe it. Theres something off about hasbros version, i just cant quite place it. On a side note i got the ironfist/powerman two pack and man i love this ironfist. My only complaint about it is that i wish it had the classic v point above the yellow sash but thats it. I hope we get a two pack of danny in his red and yellow outfit with an unmasked head and steel serpent, also with and unmasked head.

Dan Yun, writer Melissa Flores and the living legend Marv Wolfman, a.k.a. the creator of Blade, Black Cat, Bullseye, Cyborg, Raven and "Crisis on Infinite Earths", are all confirmed to have Covid, among many others. I wish them all the best and a full, speedy recovery. I had Covid last year for seven weeks and still have half the stamina I used to after being sick with it.

+ The whole Toyark ground team. :/.

It's the shade of green. Hasbro’s is a bit dark and too cool (blue) toned. And the heads, Hasbro’s sculpting team phoned in the face and hair sculpts

The faces are just fine, but I think it's the hair. I also like how the boots and gloves are sculpted on the Mafex. Though, for $140, I expected a lot more in the way of accessories since that is what Figma charges for their Zelda line and those come with a shit ton of stuff.

I think I'll stick with the Hasbro one after all. A third of the price and comes with the phoenix accessory. Plus, if I recall, Mafex figures are pretty fragile.

I got my preorder for Hasbro's in at BBTS before the price change, for $35 she's fine

They sent me Astonishing Wolverine as the replacement for Superior Spider-Man, which is fine by me since Amazon canceled my order for Wolvie

Hasbro / Action Figures
We've scoured all the universes to bring you the very best - but we're not going to be able to tell you what we found just yet. Sign up for a reminder and we'll show you as soon as these figures go live!

It sounds like it might be the 40th anniversary "Secret Wars" wave revealed, but I think it could also be the Across the Spider-Verse wave revealed. We'll know for sure on Thursday.

What do you guys think of this?

The figure of Wolverine is amazing…

Note: Can they do a redo on that Cyclops, that gimmick with the flames coming out his visor was to great, and well as the sculpt, Imo….

On the Phoenix, I am too a little disappointed…The face looks off to me as well…And, they overpriced her as well…I think the 2 pack that Phoenix was in with Cyclops look on surface, better than this one…It is a shame, because she is such a main character in X-Men lore, they should have shown her more love…
