The problem is she doesn't look like Jean to me. I keep looking at my Claremont omnibus and I just don't see it. The green is wrong. The face and hair are all wrong. I'm not expecting a complete 1:1 translation, but when everyone else is pretty spot on despite having changes, she just looks out of place. Even 97 Nightcrawler is more accurate despite the hair change.

I've decided to order the Mafex one, but I'll get this with my $35 BBTS order for the phoenix accessory.

I'm planning on swapping the head to one of 3 pack heads. I feel like they went with a cooler toned green to contrast with the phoenix effect.

It is disappointing, I really wanted to like this ML figure, but I can’t…Something is not right to me on the face…The body mold is okay…But, it a shame, Phoenix is a well know character in Marvel, they did not give her the justice with this figure…Easy pass…

At D23 it's been confirmed that Polaris, and Danger will appear in X-MEN 97 Season 2.

The X-Men will be wearing the Grant Morrison suits as well.

Havok, Sabretooth and Lady Deathstrike will also be in season 2

sure you would have to pay probably 100 bucks for an Ultimate Deluxe Marvel Legends figure for something like Retro Spider-man figure with an unmasked head, a camera, a backpack and probably bunch of extra hands for whatever purpose.

That Mezco Dr Doom figure while expensive at least it comes with a bunch of crap

Mezco is just legends with soft goods. Personally i dont feel mezcos are worth as that soft goods stuff is gonna deteriorate, flake and peel.

The soft goods is exactly why I just can't bring myself to dive into them even though their Green Goblin and FF look really good.

I'll suffer those suits, if it means we get more Emma Frost in the next season.

What blows my mind is here we are a billion dollars and over 2 weeks after deadpool and wolverine and yet we have no action figures from hasbro in any scale... a LOT of money left on the table. I know they didn't want spoilers but wave 1 could have been a case of deadpools. I just ordered a knockoff sh figurarts deadpool 2 for now.

Perhaps Disney did not give them any characters to make figures of? I mean, pretty much the two waves of X-Men 97 figures we got were based on the art they showed publically like a year ago.
