In regards to Dragon Man being order on demand ,
what characters do you think should get that treatment. I dont mind big characters , but i cant really think of any that would be appealing to me. I'm guessing their price varies on how much said character cost to make , and they want to profit from. The flip side is you get a standard marvel legends figure with a lot of accessories e.g a deluxe version of deadpool could be all the weapons he's used with 5-6 different head expressions. i can see them doing a Mephisto being one sitting on like a skull throne with maybe 2 demon minions |

I get why you don't care for his stuff. It's not to my taste either. But I will say this...I met him at the Hasbro Breakfast during SDCC this year. He was without a doubt one of the nicest most earnest people I met the entire time. He was having WiFi trouble with his phone. I had same issue about 5 minutes before him and managed to sort it. Was explaining to him how to fix and he just smiled (a little awkwardly) held out his phone and said,"I'm sorry sir but would mine fixing it for me?" I fixed it, handed it back. He smiles flopped against the couch back and says,"Thank you so much, sir. I'm not great with that kind of stuff." We chatted for a few more minutes until he got up and went to interview someone. The guy is a human. He makes videos and has complaints. Big deal. If you don't like it don't watch. But there's no point in watching just to complain about a dude complaining. That's weird stalkery stuff imo. |

As a head's up, PulseCon has started late and the Marvel Legends segment is now supposed to air at 2:50 or 2:55 p.m., Eastern time. I'll definitely be looking forward to see what gets revealed.

What the heck? Who let that Toy Hunter tv show guy be the host for the Hasbropulse Live thing for today? He was a moron on that show of his when it was on A&E or History Channel years ago

I would have probably bought that Vulture on his own, but not with a Spider-Man I don't need.
|
Hell yeah. Beyonder and Titania! Finally.
|
Wolverine is the first figure I will buy.
Hmmm, if I want a new Cap that is perfect, i might have to go to Mafex. Symbiote Spidey is cool, but... |
That's it?

The Spider-Man/Vulture two-pack for the "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" looks great. That's a must-buy for me, especially since Spidey has alternate heads of Peter Parker and Flash Thompson. I just wish the Spider-Man figure had wall-crawling posed hands.
The "Secret Wars" wave surprised and underwhelmed me. I don't care about that Beyonder and Titania making the cut gives me hope the Absorbing Man could be on the way. Spider-Man is a pass because the eye lenses are wrong and not giving Iron Man a Jim Rhodes alternate head is infuriating to me. Captain America is great, but I was hoping for an intact shield. Wolverine needed an angry head, but he still looks great. Of the six, only Cap and Wolverine are getting my money. I was REALLY hoping for Doc Ock. The flat head at the end is clearly a mask for the Retro Chameleon figure being released next year. It's nice to know that leaked listing was real. I really hope that we get more "Secret Wars" waves and figures in 2025. There are too many characters from that comic series that I want to see made or re-made. |
They're finally making Titania except they incorrectly painted the negative space T on her torso lavender.

Yeah, i think im good passing on the SW wave altogether. I set my expectations low so im not disappointed but, there just wasn't enough meat on the bones for the price. Didnt like the lack of an 80s Rhodey head, or an updated Cap head-there i was expecting a backlit cowl, something that looked closer to the Mike Zeck art. This is just the 20th headsculpt with different expressions. The Beyonder never did anything for me (isnt his human form from SW2 not the 84 series, or am i wrong there?). And imo, spidey on that smaller buck is a downgrade, based on my preference anyway.

So James Rhodes was in the Iron Man armor and not Tony during Secret Wars? Kind of hard to believe that a black man in Tony's Iron Man armor would be rolling around in roller skates on an alien planet during Secret Wars.
Wasn't Tony Stark there anyway during Secret Wars? Him I can believe Tony screwing around with the roller skates |
At least the rumored $33+ price tag was incorrect
|
No offense to anyone that likes them, but I think that shin swivels on ANY figure, let alone one like symbiote Spidey (where he’s one solid color throughout and doesn’t have separate boots) are the worst thing about new Marvel Legends…

The figures are $25 each. I see some Secret Wars listings on Amazon, but no photos for them and when I clicked them, the links didn't work. Has anyone found them?

So you're going to specifically mention that rhodey was wearing the armor during the presentation, but you didn't include a rhodey head sculpt? Smh, typical Hasbro. Overall, a letdown as usual. Can't believe I'm thinking about buying that vulture 2pack.
