If anyone needs Captain America, Iron Man, Titania and Wolverine from the new Marvel Legends "Secret Wars" wave, they're up for pre-order on Amazon. Cap and Wolverine went back up today, so I was able to pre-order Wolverine successfully this afternoon after missing him on Friday. Beyonder and black costume Spider-Man remain sold out on Amazon, but I will let you know if that changes.

For anyone into that, there's a guy selling all sorts of old Toybiz Marvel Legends/ Select prototypes. I have nowhere near that sort of money but it's definitely a cool bit of history.

First Amazon pushed Odin to the 26th, then with no warning shipped him this morning and he's supposed to be delivered tomorrow

Spoke too soon, now there's a shipping delay in TX and the new date is Saturday, last time I had a delay was Astonishing Wolverine and they ended up canceling and refunding.

On a better note, stopped at Walmart on the way home and they had one Mark 1 left

Got my notice from Hasbro that my Pulse order of Crystal/Lockjaw shipped and should actually be here tomorrow (we'll see if that happens but I'd think early next week at latest).

Amazon pushed mine back to mid-October. I also have a preorder at BBTS and I haven't heard anything from them

Ah that's disappointing. Hopefully it gets to you sooner. I think I'm glad that it was already sold out when I tried to order it on Amazon. Getting pretty close to having my complete wanted Avengers roster (albeit, with different outfits, just character wise).

Odin made it, safe and sound. Very solid, though I have to say using jersey/t-shirt material for the cape is an odd choice, also the staff from the previous baf looks ridiculous with him

It is certainly a well-made figure. Great design, plenty of details, with good paint applications (very few smears/smudges on mine). But the cape was notable for me for an entirely different reason. I appreciate the way the cape was constructed, specifically how it is pinned in, despite not loving the material that was used. The pin mechanism allows for aftermarket wired capes and I think it’s a smart play that I want repeated for more characters. Even the choice of material is smart. The thin and cheap material mitigates cost and doesn’t hinder articulation.

There’s room for improvement (there always is), but there’s a great deal to like here with Odin.

It's from Infamous Ironman, the fur collar is from a Sabertooth.

Gotta love Amazon and Hasbro. As of right now the rest of the Wave is scheduled for Oct 15th, Crystal and Lockjaw Oct 14th, Rogue & Destiny and Retro Cobra Commander Oct 3rd

We need a do-over on Outback Rogue that's based on how she looked in the 80's instead of a 2019 variant cover. While Rogue often wears hunter green, the hue should've been closer to lime. Her noggin also doesn't resemble the glam-punk look Mark Silvestri gave her.

^I agree totally with the punk hairdo and a lighter shade of green. However, I want an entirely new figure that features the entire punk look. Black bodysuit with green, torn, off-the-shoulder, cropped cami and booties.

I don't mind the Outback Rogue we got, the green which I'd call kelly not hunter is actually pretty close to her series 2 marvel trading card. I think the only redo might be if they wrap up the team with a boxset.


Bloodstorm is better than I expected. The head sculpts are cool, the new hands and torso are good. She even has an unexpected waist twist. The drawbacks are the reused arms and legs and the lack of power effects

That trading card & the modern cover are the only places were it's dark green. It's between lime & olive in the actual comics. So I'd rather not repaint 3/4 of her & find a new head.
