Crystal and Lockjaw got me thinking about needing an updated Medusa and Blackbolt, I feel like Blackbolt would be a pretty straightforward redo on the Vulcan body. For Medusa, I think they'd need to do her neck articulation like the Astonishing Emma, with the double ball peg because her hair is just too heavy for the hinge. Or my preference would be to do her hair as a display base like Phoenix

That’s unfortunate to hear that about the tail, but I’ll judge for myself when I get it. I’d prefer to have even a slightly articulated tail over a static mold.

I’m compelled to share that the last few Legends I’ve received have represented a higher quality than I’m accustomed to experiencing within the line. Of course, much of what I’ve received in this week and last is part of the 85th commemorative line, or some form of deluxe figure, which are intended to represent a higher tier. Kang 2.0 is worth every bit of what I paid and I’m happy to not have to search the aftermarket for a suitable throne/time-platform. Odin is, well, Odin – a high benchmark that won’t soon be surpassed. Superior Spider-Man is all kinds of dope and we need more attention to detail like this moving forward. People will complain (have complained) about the leg-pins, but Skaar is also exactly what I wanted in a figure of the character. Even Astonishing Wolverine has been executed at a very high level, with enough accessorizing to add cherries on top.

Wong was very cool too in a ‘hey, thanks Hasbro’ way…as was the Bats statue…

While I’m not expecting the same experience with the Strange Tales wave, I am quite excited about getting a bare bones EoV Hellstrom, West Coast Moon Knight, and decent-to-great Blackheart.

It sucks that Target Venompool sold out so fast, but read somewhere else that October 6, Venompool will be in stores, so I might be able to walk into Target and get one…

According to Amazon, my Destiny/Rogue 2-pack should arrive this week. My excitement is somewhat tempered, though, because I just saw someone post in-hand images on Reddit. For lack of a better description, it looks like Hasbro painted “reflection effects” on Destiny’s face. Ugh. I never noticed that in the promo shots. It's not a deal breaker, but dammit, the metallic gold paint would have more than sufficed on its own.

Sadly for everyone of us that's satisfied with the gold paint, there's a whiny neck beard that wants vac-metal. There's no pleasing everyone
