2024 had so many great figures. Sure, figures like Destiny didn't have the most articulation, but they fulfilled long term wants by being made. Crystal was a long time want made real, but there were still some figures this year that I liked better. I'm not dying on a hill either with my order, but Odin was a really cool and detailed figure so he earned my number 1 spot. The rest are in no particular order:
1. Odin Quicksilver Skaar Ghost Rider Warbird Crystal Destiny She Hulk Titania Wong from the Dr. Strange two pack Honorable mention to Hulkbuster and Man-Thing. |
My opinion, the best figures this year
the Secret Wars figures X Factor Wolfsbbane Count Nefario She Hulk in her spandex outfit she wore when she was with the Fantastic Four or Avengers during the 1980s re-release of Magik the big bonking figure of Odin Quote:

Got my IM and Beyonder from SW series. Beyonder is everything I dreamed of, he took be back to the 80's. Probably could have passed on IM, really only wanted him for the skates and pinless, but now the blue on the chest which should be yellow or white really stands out to me...maybe a bit of paint. Titania should be here today and got a mystery charge for $54.48 from PULSE that I can't match up so maybe some more Secret Wars on the way. I wish PULSE would get fixed though for tracking orders, notifications, etc.

My custom head for Mafex Spidey just arrived:
https://i.imgur.com/Jku1gPJ.jpg I though the black around the eyes was a little thicker, but it's pretty awesome. It fit right on, but there is about a 1cm gap between the neck and head because it doesn't seem like they drilled the hole deep enough. However, it's not loose anything of the sort. Can't wait to take pictures of him with it. |
A couple of comparison shots between the Mafex and Legends Caps:

If the rumors turn out to be true and Hasbro doesn't renew the marvel license after 2026, where do you guys want to see the line move to? I'm personally hoping for Mattel or Jada

If Hasbro loses the license, so be it. |

I've given up on the Inhumans. The figures are just too much for me to want to bother with a subpar group who couldn't even figure out how to get out of a bubble on their own. I didn't even bother buying Karnak because $25 was too much money for an archaic figure buck they put him on.
I would like Rachel and Feral, but at this point I'm ready to just get rid of all of my 90s X characters and above, so Feral has become a meh. I guess I'd rather they do the original New Mutants instead, but they should do them as box sets. The first set with Cannonball, Xian, Mirage, Sunspot, and Wolfsbane. The second set includes Magik, Cypher, Magma, and Warlock. OH, and perhaps a wolf version of Wolfsbane to make up for there only being 4 figures. |

I don't know if I'd continue with legends if they went to a new producer. I could see the company starting from scratch again. And not only with the "evergreen" figures like Captain America, Wolverine, etc that are going to get made nearly every year in some form anyways, but even the B-listers. I'm really enjoying the deeper cuts we're getting from Hasbro and feel like a new company would not reach that mark for a long long time.
In regards to what I really want to see from Hasbro, I'm paring the list down to a bare minimum here and it's 3 figures - an updated or new outfit of Mandarin, which is rumored, and Graviton and Exodus. Lots of others I'd love to see get made but these three have always been fairly high up on my want list...like even 10 years ago they may be all that's left from my top 20 or so wants. OG Thunderbolts would be very high up in terms of team completion. Anyways...leading into wants...I guess my top 10 wants for the line (this counts BAF in that as well) 1. Graviton 2. Exodus 3. Mandarin (almost any outfit will be fine, even the business suit!) 4. Morgan Le Fay 5. Atlas 6. Meteorite 7. Psylocke (Outback Armor) 8. Banshee (Yellow/Green/GSXM) 9. Wizard 10. Abyss (AOA) AOA Storm, AOA Quicksliver, AOA Nemesis, Crimson Cowl and Attuma are honorable mentions. The nice thing here is that two are rumored, and that I think it's somewhat possible we'll see more AOA figures sprinkled into waves, hopefully anyways. With the X-Line getting more and more complete, I feel like Exodus is likely fairly soon as well, as a second string villain he's fairly high profile. |

I was surprised we didn't get a comic Attuma around the time the MCU BAF came out. Also surprised to see Fabian Cortez before Exodus. Senyaka and Colossus are the only other members I'd even be interested in. 2,3,7,8,9 from your list are other figures I'm surprised haven't been made yet. If Marvel didn't suppress X-Merchandise over the movie rights we'd be farther along with that part of the MU. |
My take on another company taking over Legends depends, The best bets are Mattel and Jada. Mattel's Masterverse figures are close to being in scale with legends, the articulation scheme is nearly the same and the price point is comparable. Same with Jada if their street fighter line is any indication, I just don't know if they'd be able to take on something with the scope of legends. Mcfarlane would be out of scale and the articulation would be weird, and Super 7 would drop down to like 10 figures a year for $70 each with bad QC. I suppose Neca is a possibility, but I can't remember the last time I bought anything of theirs, though the Gargoyles are tempting
