i'm gonna use gold to skip the epic bosses i believe. no way i could get enough cp to get gambit, rogue, and nightcrawler. not in 25 days at the rate they give out CP on the roulette.

Yeah. Nightcrawler - 48. Rogue - 90. Gambit - 90. Black Panther - 90. Not easy if you don't have them. I only have Gambit out of that. Means I still need 228 cp. And you need 318 if you don't have any of them. Which is rough if the last Spec Ops drained you and then you got Avengers costumes. I sit at 39. lol But I spent time getting a few missions into four stars, so it shouldn't be too hard five starring a few. So I may be able to do one Epic Boss if I can't manage both.

i ALMOST converted my gold from the Coulson's Revenge to CP. decided to wait and see about spec ops 3 first. kind of glad i did

What do you mean? In mission one, if you play Avengers, you team with Black Widow to fight Emma Frost. If you play X-Men, you team with Emma to fight Widow.

I love the option setup. They should do Civil War and set it up the same.

That walk through says you have to do exactly in that order, but not necessary cause you can still 2-3 star the required missions ahead of time.

Well, I have enough to get two out of the four needed for the epic bosses (maybe 3/4 depending on how much BP is), but no way can I get all four right now, and I doubt 25 days is enough for me to get even close.

But I have plenty of unused gold, so I may take jesterkiller's advice....

The "exact order" part is only referring to the missions to unlock Magik. It doesn't matter which side you're on (X-Men or Avengers) when you complete a given task. You could flip-flop the whole way there if you like.

I plan on going all the way with avengers then doing xmen once I get magik. Since I have more avengers anyways

I started playing on the playdom site a few weeks ago and it's way better. There are pretty much no limits on energy or ISO you can get. I'm up to about lvl 31 now. If I want Magik on that account I just need BP and have plenty of gold to skip that last mission (24 or 25) with 25 gold. On my main FB account I just need to buy Nightcrawler. Have 102CP on one and 115 on the other. Both accounts are sitting on the 24 hour research for step 11 I think it is.
Also it seems like they nerfed Gambits infinite double strike combo :/
Don't think I'll care much for the drops this time around. Last ones weren't that great either. I forgot if there is one from the Epic or what it is

Well I am ready for this. I have everyone they require (only need Reed and Ororo anyway) so it should be all good. I will of course make a pass at the epics and try for the good stuff but I have no luck. I will most likely use Mockingbird for both battles anyway, or maybe Hulk against Phoenix, he can take hits.


My family on the other hand IF I buy them enough gold they will skip the last two, except for my son who has BP. Also they could use Coulsons. My oldest works part time at taco Bell so she is going to get hers, just need her to get one for her sister. My wife doesn't care and I mostly play that for her rediscovering what it is like to do lvls that are a challenge and 5 starring missions again. (except for premium Phoenix and SPec Ops I have none left to do.)


I just hope they drop Chap 9 next week to break it up and give those that need it a chance for 6 more gold and 30 more cp's

I'm at the same point. I have 100 gold but I don't wanna waste it buying iso8. I just got Gambit too and have enough cp for NC. Gonna wait though

yea i don't want to buy iso either. so for now i am doing regular missions with my supply of energy

Hahaha me too! Farming 4-4 for more CP. I have to wait to do bosses cuz I'm training IW to lvl 12. I really hate the gift limit too. You can't even do HALF a mission with that. Each gift iso8 should be 2 like energy gifts

Whoa you guys are out of ISO already? You do know that the next research requires 120 ISO's...which takes 2 days.

on my playdom account I had no problem getting to the 48 hour research step. I have 130 CP and the rest of the duration to get the rest needed for all of the deploy heroes since I have none or will just get BP and spend the gold. On FB I have everyone I need but ran out of ISO for the research. Will have to gather over the next 2 days and then wait another 2 for research. :( Anybody else playing on Playdom?
