Guy Gardner did in Death of Superman but didn't have a GL ring. If I recall he was using Sinestro's ring at the time.

Here you go

PAKs are Play Arts Kai figures. I think the majority of them are video game related, but they've started making some really stylized DC stuff too.

And WOW, that Doomsday is bigger than I thought! Your pics are killing me. I've got a few more things that need to pop into stock before I get BBTS to ship my pile of loot, and I think that two pack is now my most anticipated item!

Ah yes. Didn't realize the acronym. I know which dc ones your talking about too. I'm thinking the wonderwoman, batman with a sword and hal jordan. They look kinda anime-ish. I actually got some PAK. I got the mass effect figures.

That Doomsday is pretty sweet. I don't care for the ponytail though. Considering Doomsday was made to fight and kill, it seems having something to be able to grab onto is a poor choice.

Do you have any Marvel Universe Hulk figures or the 2008 Incredible Hulk from the film the 6inch version that is in scale with G.I. Joes. I'd love to see a comparison.

I just wish the Superman's head wasn't to small for the body and just atrocious looking. I really wish DCC's 3.75 inch line wasn't so short compared to other figures in that scale (human characters). Plus 29.99 for two figures is way to much but that Doomsday looks awesome.

Such a silly decision not having Superman and Doomsday in the same two-Pack. Just an awful decision! I mean Knightwing with Superman? Doomsday with Catwoman...wtf!

Logic - Catoman/Knightwing

Superman/Doomsday.

batsncats 11-01-2013 06:10 AM

Logic - Nightwing not Knightwing :)

They won't pack Batman characters together because they are sure to sell. Instead of buying one pack and getting Catwoman/Nightwing in one go, they figure people will buy two separate sets to get them. Hell, up until this year I would have been one of those "suckers" - I didn't start appreciating Superman until the MoS hype convinced me to read some of his more iconic stories. Luckily that means I want every figure from the Catwoman/Doomsday and Nightwing/Superman sets.

Honestly, I'm just surprised that they packaged Green Arrow and Deathstroke together - though that may have been to try to entice fans of Arrow into buying toys.

eva00kai 11-01-2013 05:08 PM

I picked up the Green Arrow/Deathstroke and Nightwing/Superman sets this past week and i really an liking them.

Yeah he was. It was right after Emerald Twilight when Hal went nuts and became Parallax the first time that Guy lost the yellow ring.

So Superman died. Came back. Coast city destroyed. Hal became Parallax. Parallax absorbed Guy's yellow ring when they fought. Then Guy became Guy Gardener Warrior with the red out of his skin weapon forming stuff(Vuldarian?). Then he became normal again, got a GL ring eventually and now he's a Red Lantern.

snake5289 11-02-2013 09:45 AM

Thought so. Its been a while.

To my knowledge, the Green Lantern packs are only released at SDCC, NYCC, and Wonder-Con. The next one I think is Wonder-Con, March 29-31 in Anaheim. Then its SDCC in July.

Superman/Doomsday.

I don't have that movie line hulk but I can take some pics with the MU hulk.

I get what you are saying about these. They are really only great as their own line. They don't necessarily mix well with other 3.75 figures with exception to the big guys. You'd have to play with the depth to fool the scale of them with the other 3.75 figs. I still do hope that they continue since we don't have a joker, batman, or lex yet. Maybe they are trying to improve on their QC before moving forward.

REDX 11-04-2013 06:26 PM

whats qc

snake5289 11-04-2013 07:00 PM

Quality control if I'm not mistaken.

Here are some pics I took earlier this year... if it could help you to get ideas for managing the scales in your displays.

Next display I'll try will be Deathstroke vs some MU henchmen, but I have to find a dynamic pose for him since he's dwarfed by everyone except Puck

BTW, is it me, or the convention eclusives GL are a bit bigger that the Injustice ones?

I wanted to make this custom for a long while but haven't found a John Stewart figure until now. Basic head swap and paint job. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Got my Catwoman/Doomsday pack today, and Selina's arm broke at the left elbow, just like my Wonder Woman did. So sad.

That sucks. Since I got my Hal Jordan pack I opened up the rest of the green lantern figures. I was trying to be so careful in removing them. Kyle rayner's left arm snapped off. The arm joints are especially fragile for the woman figures. My cat woman arm's is questionable and I don't try to move it. Luckily I'm pretty satisfied with how they did doomsday though.

Ninjinister 11-06-2013 10:40 PM

Yeah I've had no qualms with their bigger figures of this line except that one of Grundy's non-removable knives eventually broke off. I wish they'd find a way to make the smaller figs that sturdy.

All I need is Aquaman and Cyborg to finish up a New 52 JL line up to take down Darkseid.

I have a question on the new Mutiverse movie wave coming next year. Is Keaton Batman:
One figure, unmasked
One figure, masked
One figure, with removable mask
Two figures, one unmasked and one masked
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's two figures, but I'm not 100% positive.

snake5289 11-15-2013 02:58 PM

I think it's two figures too. Should just be two swappable heads though.

Well your logic has been disproven.
