What a waste of plastic. Jokerized DKR Batman? That makes no sense

So this hot garbage gets greenlit yet we still can't get figures of Black Canary Zatanna Hawkgirl Wondy Vixen etc Phantom Stranger or Spector would have made a cool gold label for the guys

I wouldn't mind Jokerized variants as Con-exclusives, if they did one or two a year and repainted their different Batman molds in the colors it'd be pretty fun!

In my experience, the Dark Knight Returns wave warmed the pegs because of how ugly Frank Miller's art style is and it even looks worse in plastic form. Why make a Jokerized version of the TDKR Batman? Just why do this? It's just going to be a peg warmer. I am not even a fan of Jokerized figures, I prefer to get the Joker and not this other character in Joker form. As you said we could get those characters listed above instead. I'd also add Kitana, Sinestro, and hell a regular-looking Wonder Woman from the comics not these crappy variants of her.

Dudes, it's Gold Label, and head-scratchers like this are the perfect product for store exclusives. They keep the retailers happy but don't take up slots in a product wave, and they keep sought after figures from being trapped behind a particular company's particular distribution woes.

I don't like this figure either, but if store exclusives are a necessity then this is the best way to go about them, imo.

I don't remember this even being in the comic. I guess it's just a stupid cheap repaint McFarlane can offer to make more use of existing tooling. It's an easy pass for me unless I find this one clearance at Target later this year like some of the other McFarlane figures I've run across lately.

Yeah, nothing at all to do with DKR...just a pointless repaint with zero ties to anything.
I'd like to think this was done to pay for the tooling for a new torso piece so we can get a v1 DKR batman figure.
I have to admit though that I actually like it and I can't even quantify why lol and I would probably pick this up if i saw it at target.

I don't think this has any new tooling. Looks to be a straight repaint of DKR Bats from the Build-A-Horse wave.

That looks nearly identical to the retail releases we already got. An unmasked head would have been incentive to get this.

That Gold Label Movie Flash looks like the one that should have been originally released. Though honestly this thing has got to be hard to market as a Flash movie.

Normally Mcfarlane would as opposed to including an alternate head with the one figure like everyone else........is do the exact same release with a different head.

But I wonder if that plan was scrapped due to the actor. The elephant in the room is the actor of the title character.

The commercials are all marketing this more as a Batman movie now, hyping up Michael Keaton's return, because that's all anyone really cares to see and WB knows it.
