The Maximum Spidey is based on Todd McFarlane’s art. The blue sections on his Spider-Man were always heavily shaded to suggest that they were a dark blue. Navy blue is the most accurate color to the artwork without resorting to cel-shading.

I'm not a fan either but by viewing and sharing his videos, disliking, commenting etc. it makes the algorithm recommend his channel more and he gets more money and fame. I suggest blocking his channel or any channel you don't like.

The amount of cel-shading needed to make the figure match the artwork would drive the price up. The navy blue seems like a good compromise.

Having watched the video. WallyBot is blowing it waaaay out of proportion. Russ said he'd prefer the Spidey-sense effect in yellow. He also said the unmasked head looks off, and it does. He also said he'd need to see it in hand.

As for the price point, my first thought was $40

For being called Spider-Man Unlimited, his posseability is quite limited. I'm kind of disappointed with it. Why make a new body for him but have a normal ab crunch and waist swivel instead of reversing it like what has become the norm? I also wish he came with some web effects or like a tiny swam of nanites. Hell, even a Peter head.

Yep. I read a lot of folk saying it's based on Erik Larsen's work (it could be argued his was based on Todd's). But the chest spider and noggin are clearly McFarlane.

The block function is always there if someone needs it. There were three particularly annoying people on here that i used it on (two no longer post here) and it made my experience reading these forums much better.

Yeah, I just finished the show last week and it was crap. However, I did like the Spidey suit, which is the only reason I bought this.

I wanted to love the Spiderman Unlimited figure…
But, once I saw the costume design on the figure, it through me off from wanting the figure…

Note: I guess I’m an odd ball, but I loved that show, such a disappointment that politics of the toy business prevented some of us from getting a true costume on a figure!
