Not surprising news, but discouraging nonetheless. The economy is going to buck a lot of fuqs here soon. I guess we will probably be looking at $35-$40 figures before too long. At some point they price themselves out of the game, even if the economy is strongarming them into doing it.

Right now just going to see how this plays out and figure out where to draw the line on what I really want versus what I think I want.

Found some of the new Spidey wave at my local grocery store at the end of February. Comparing this figure to the upcoming No Way Home version though and oh wow, what a deluxe priced value! Seriously, Francine here has the exact same lightning effect parts but in blue, also has a pair of alternate hands just like the movie figure, and neither distinctly looks like Jamie Foxx. Joking aside, I like it more than any of the Max figures we've gotten. These effect pieces are pretty cool though in the way that they don't have a designated clip-on point or peg so they have a versatility where any figure can use them if you figure out a way to fit them on.

I really wanted to use this Dio from NECA along with those floating shelves that look fire escapes for my Spidey/Marvel Knights/Midnight Sons stuff. What a hassle it's been. I ordered from BBTS and they were really cool about exchanging the first one. You see the underside of the top "floor" has 5 support struts, however due to a manufacturing error, the ports don't line up. I received the replacement yesterday and it has the same issue, I was able to redrill the holes, but for $150 before tax and shipping, I shouldn't have to. The other problem is mountings for the backdrop don't line up, so it's either crooked, or you have to slide it behind the dio and hope for the best
