Yeah, I tried the OUTBACK Rogue head and it just does not work. Hoping the 97 Xmen Rogue head fits. We will see. If not, she looks like she did in Secret Wars, so I will keep her with those figures.

Right, but as you are not the only person this line is produced for.... Most collectors are also going to want Doug and Amara at least, and likely Illyana in the NM uniform too. I would be shocked if we didn't see Sunspot in the training uniform in wave 3 or 4 of 97

Yes, but what I meant was doing a 5 pack for the original 5 members and then releasing the others in either multi packs or individually. I jsut think the original five is an easy box set for Hasbro.

I'm ambivalent. That's when The New Mutants started to go downhill. Karma disappeared. Magma got forgotten. Cypher died. Magik was turned back into a child. Mirage stayed in Asgard. Warlock died. Wolfsbane got mutated and stayed in Genosha.

Granted, the later two were around for Cable, but that's when the team became generic. Not to mention they abandoned Rusty and Skids.

If the idea was just basic training uniform New Mutants Hasbro could also release a deluxe figure or a few 2 packs, (Large Male & Small Female bodies and vice versa), with standard bodies. Throw in multiple heads, interchangeable parts, & accessories to achieve various looks and characters. Kinda like Dani Moonstar or Shield 3 Pack. These could even be reused by Hasbro or we could kitbash other teams and eras.

Of course this works best if executed with some thought and care, so IF.

If they do Sunspot in one of the 97 waves, maybe they'll pack extra heads in with him, otherwise I think the Walgreens Quasar head is a pretty good Doug head. They'll have to redo the female characters since the previously released uniform won't match

Tried to buy a Jean last week and they wouldn't let me. Glad the release date is moved up.

I hope they do a retro carded Rogue that is more comic accurate in a year or so. Give her better boots and a better top. Paint the bandana blue. I know a lot of people don't like her face sculpt too.

Packing up to move across the country has suddenly make me question my life choices. I think I need to dump everything Legends wise that isn't X-Men, Spider-Man, and Fantastic Four.

Offloading figures and downsizing a collection is constantly on my mind, I never want to be totally out of the game, though the number of figures I am buying each year is decreasing and be more selective with my purchases especially when quality issues are involved with the figure…

Yeah. Fortunately, I wasn't getting too out of hand with Legends like I did with DCUC, but I still have bought more than I should have.

I think I also need to stop buying every Spidey villain that gets made and focus on a specific era like how I've decided to only collect/keep the Claremont era of X-Men and Kirby era of Fantastic Four.

Speaking of which, I'm going to get rid of my remaining DCUC figures which is pretty much just the New Gods and a couple Icons.

Is it me, or is Hasbro making more vehicles for 6 inch figures…Between Gi Joe Classified to Star Wars.

They can definitely make an X-Men Blackbird for a reasonable price, plus it is an iconic vehicle….Please, Hasbro…Lol
