Got the new Archangel. The new wings are cool and obviously contribute to his overall presence but it's still tough to say they justify his price. Regardless of my wallet's griping I'm still happy to have him.

Well, I caught the live-stream on YouTube. Here's what I remember seeing:

- "Deadpool and Wolverine" Wolverine mask
- "X-Men '97" Wave Three: Cable, Logan, Jubilee (black suit), Morph, Sunspot, White Queen
- Three "X-Men '97" two packs: Rogue and shirtless Gambit (basketball court), '70s suit Storm and brown-and-tan Wolverine, '70s Cyclops and Jean Grey
- Outback Storm, but she's a Target Exclusive - Ugh!
- "Magic the Gathering: Spider-Man" wave: Battle Damaged Spider-Man, Iron Spider Mary Jane, Agent Anti-Venom, Man-Wolf (not the classic comic suit though), which goes up for pre-order on August 1st
- Comic based figures, including Doctor Doom with Doctor Strange's cape (Sorcerer Supreme Doom, I think?) and some other characters I've never heard of
- Feral
- Rachel Summers Phoenix
- There was a nice tribute to Ryan Ting, who was in the crowd
- Mephisto

I'm not going to lie, I was underwhelmed by the non "X-Men '97" reveals and seeing that Outback Storm, which is my favorite Storm suit, is a Target Exclusive really left me disappointed. I'm also surprised by the lack of Spider-Man reveals for this year. I do hope we'll see some more, better figures revealed in the fall.

If shirtless basketball Gambit isn't too risque for Marvel Legends, Hasbro can make Jubilee as Abscissa from X-Men '97 too!

I wish Hasbro would stop putting cockrum storm in two packs. I just want her by herself

eh. I prefer my short shorts and shirtless basketball playing Gambit to be hairy like what he looked like in Jim Lee's 1990s X-Men comic. that or at least playing softball on the front or backyard of the X Men's mansion

I am very, very happy with Mephisto. They improved on the render (or proto) shown during the EoV failed HasLab. A simple design with well-done accents and a new throne that significantly out shines the Select version. I did not watch the stream, so I’m still looking forward to seeing Warbow and Rachel. Outback Storm is obscured in photos, so I’m also excited to get a better look at her. Sunspot looks good and I am eager to get the other original New Mutants. Emma is impressive. The other stuff is simply other stuff. I see some things I will get (Scott) and others I will not. Gambit looks like the perfect bandana wearing loser from the 90’s. On the strength of that alone, he is a nab.

Edit:Oh, and Man-Wolf. I would have preferred it to be a bit taller, but, barring a movie appearance, I do not see getting another bite at the apple on Jameson.

Just saw Rachel. Exactly what I've wanted. Please make Necrom (sorcerer supreme version). And Starfox makes me very happy. I'm surprised no one mentioned him.

EDIT:I just saw that Star Fox is being paired with the Champion, and the fig looks great. Here’s to more comic canon Elders of the Universe. I also found images of Warbow, and by the looks of the render, it could be of similarly high quality as Crystar. There is a lot of stuff in these reveals that I want. Feral wasn’t high on my list either, however, she looks great and completing a team is always a bonus.

new World War II Logan/Wolverine figure that has strap on metal claws.... kind of cool but dumb at the same time.

Don't think Logan even was aware he had claws bone claws at the time when he was a soldier during World War II anyway

$79.99 for Mephisto is a very fare price.

Rachel and Feral in one go probably caused many years of joy today.

I find it funny that they reveal Feral and Phoenix AFER I sold off X-Force and Excalibur. At least I saved myself money.

Kind of sucks SDCC is this weekend since I'm busy moving into my new apartment, so Im missing all of the news, but oh well. Hell, I totally forgot Fantastic Four came out today. I need to find a good theater to see it at because the one down the street from our new place doesn't do reserved seating nor does it have modern seats.

The capes are plastic, Emma has the same cape as the Hellfire box set figure. Storm is reusing both capes from the Thunderbird 2 pack


Revealed at the same time anyway. It looks like separate waves, Rachel appears to be in the second mini comic wave, Feral seems to be in a standard wave, hopefully we get official confirmation soon
