So become a premium member, it's only an annual $50 dollar payment, I recommend you click the auto-renewal button.

Harbinger 07-26-2025 03:01 PM

Not realy happy with the too smooth, and more stylized, less detailed, look of this wave 97 figs. Makes them not really compatible with other legends to display.

En Sabah Nerd 07-26-2025 05:36 PM

Mephisto is no longer premium only, just placed my order :)

ThorOdinson123 07-26-2025 05:43 PM

All the. 97 wave 3 stuff is on Amazon. Might pick up plain clothes Logan later in the year

EvilMonkeyPope 07-26-2025 06:44 PM

As much as I dig that Man-Wolf, $40 for a single Marvel Legends figure in an extra wide box with a foil MTG card is crazy.

Right? Would have been better with Non foils

Premium is a scam as there is no benefit to ordering from Pulse these days. THey tend to get their figures last and have dealing with customer service is the equivalent to a monkey throwing shit at you.

Wait, what???

Captain Nash 07-27-2025 08:19 AM

Not that much for me revealed. i"ll think about mephisto for the next month, but the $80 price tag, and a ship date of nearly a year out, is offputting. I guess this is from the pricing/release model of Dragon Man? I do have the Select Mephisto, so its not a must have for me.

Sunspot and Rachael Grey for me for sure, but otherwise I think that's really it. Sad there was no Mandarin reveal, and I've about decided that it was one rumor that didn't pan out, and give up on the idea we'll ever see a figure released (sad really since the ToyBiz version is atrocious).

@TheBlueMarvel it's good to see you on here. Been a while and hope all is well!

WallySparks 07-27-2025 09:50 AM

where you hear that BS about the Mandarin? you keep thinking they're going to make and release a Mandarin figure.

It was on the rumor list leaked last year - noting pretty much everything else on that list has come to pass, so I was actually hoping it was accurate as I'd give given up on the Mandarin before that leak. Guess I'm back to giving up on him.

Pre order, Mephisto…
Emma Frost, Cable, and Morph look very interesting, I have been cherry picking from the X-97 line…

No Mandarin…All I can say is, “Wow!” and, “Wow” again!
They treat Mandarin like a red headed stepchild…No offense to people who are redheads and were or are stepchildren…

Hey, man. Thanks, I’ve been as well as one can be with all the madness afoot. I hope you and yours are also good. I’ve been here, lurking, I just haven’t had much that I felt needed saying. Outside of Rom, Luke, and Danny, I’ve stayed pretty quiet. I haven't slowed down in collecting. I have just been private about my nabs and opinions on the industry. I nearly commented on the Ryan Ting thing. Even though I have always looked at them as little more than Hasbro execs performing their jobs as consumer-facing brand ambassadors, I still respected the effort they put into trying to cater to our wants. It was disappointing to read he was laid off. I guess we will see what impact that has moving forward.

I wouldn’t give up entirely. These latest reveals demonstrate Hasbro’s willingness to take chances on costumes that offer problems. Hound suit Rachel, Emma, Feral, Mephisto, and even the earlier Damion Hellstrom (sporting a pentagram) represent a departure from what many have assumed were hurdles to production. However, I get where you are coming from. Mandarin’s costume situation ranges from bad design to potentially being insensitive to cultural tropes. That’s a different nut to crack than being risqué, or offensive to certain religious beliefs.

They could provide a suited version of Mandarin, but that might not satisfy fans. The costume that looks like Ming the Merciless, from Flash Gordon, could also be done, but it’s far from iconic. Which costume do you want to see made?

On the topic if Mandarin…I don’t never believe in rumors list….But, I can’t believe that there is that much red tape to make Mandarin, or I can believe it! Lol…I have the old version(s) from the old two packs…I would take a redo of Mandarin in those colors with maybe some removable fabric like for his outfits…

Note: What annoys me the most that Hasbro already has a blue print for Mandarin in their 3.75 line from Iron-Man 2 Line, I think…I have him what a great figure still…I would take that version in 6 inch scale for ML…

Hulkwummy 07-27-2025 02:03 PM

I prefer a 90s animated Mandarin, green skin and all.

I'd prefer anything besides the very original Mandarin look. Though I'd rather it not be the green skinned one. I'd personally be fine with a business suit, but I can understand why some would not be.

Ideally, it would be either the red or green cloak outfit we get from the ToyBiz Facebook pack, or (for me anyways) the early 90's armored look he wore - which being similar to Silver Samurai would not be the hardest thing for Hasbro to make

Good thinking on the 90’s armored look…I can see it little bit…Hopefully they give us different versions of him in far future!????

EvilMonkeyPope 07-27-2025 07:09 PM

They could include alternate head & hands cast in regular flesh tone or green. Or more likely they'd release an animated Mandarin separately to justify tooling costs.

Hulkwummy 07-27-2025 07:52 PM

A 90s animated Mandarin is so much easier to make.

I'm all for 90s animated Mandarin, maybe a 2 pack with Dread Knight, or a 3 pack and include Hypnoia
