Six months ago, I would have been like, "OHMYGOD IT'S CARDIAC!! I AM BUYING HIM DAY 1!!"
Today, I'll pass. In fact, there isn't a single item they showed off today I will buy. Not because any of them look bad, but none of them fit with the direction I've shifted my collection towards. I guess the only ones that would be possible contenders would b e the Inhumans, but I would need the others too. |

MarvelLegends Triton just makes me want Death Adder of The Serpent Society even more!
I'm getting Cardiac. |
From what I can find, nothing of interest revealed for me. I probably have bought an Enchantress/Executioner 2 pack, and certainly a single card Executioner, but I don't want him enough to get a wave to build him.
Everything else is cold to me. Nothing from my want list being shown, which only goes to show how far the line has come when all I've got left are filler characters. |
Y'all know that if you want the Executioner BAF but not all the characters from the series, you'll be able get his parts on ebay?

If SpinMaster can give Aloy articulated hair, there's no reason Hasbro can't do likewise for Medusa.

I think I see pattern with the Made-To-Orders, Dragon Man and Mephisto are new characters joining the Marvel Legends line, while The Sentinel and Apocalypse were Build-A-Figures in the old ToyBiz years. Maybe the next Made-To-Order figures could be Ultimo or Titanium Man as new characters, and Fin Fang Foom or Annihilus as updates.

I liked a lot of the reveals.
As I wrote on my Twitter, seeing Werewolf by Night has me curious if that body mold will be used for a future Vermin figure for the Retro Spider-Man toyline. It's nice to see Cardiac finally getting a figure, but I'm mixed on the Spider-Man 2099. As cool as the new figure looks, I wish we'd gotten a different character instead since we already got a classic Retro Spider-Man 2099 figure. They could've at least included a Miguel O'Hara alternate head as a new accessory. Since the rest of the new upcoming Retro Spider-Man wave should be revealed soon, I'm curious if the rumored figures of Hypno-Hustler, the Owl and "Christmas Spider-Man" will turn out to be real too. After all, Spider-Man 2099 and Cardiac from the leaks earlier this year turned out to be true. One of my favorite reveals was Enchantress. I'm hoping we'll see more "Secret Wars" character figures revealed for both the upcoming next "Secret Wars" wave that Hasbro confirmed in their last livestream and for other "Marvel Legends" toylines. Thor, the Hulk, the Wasp, Colossus, classic Doctor Doom, classic Doctor Octopus with bendable wire tentacles, Magneto, the Lizard, Volcana and any of the Wrecking Crew are my top wants at the moment. I know a lot of Marvel Legends collectors already have figures for Doc Ock and Hulk, but missed out on the last classic Doc Ock figure with a new body mold and the ugly alternate heads for the Maximum series Hulk figure made me pass on it. I also hope that the rumored figures of classic Spider-Man, Daredevil, the Falcon, the Absorbing Man and Constrictor all turn out to be real, as I'd buy every single one of them. And I agree, making Executioner a Build-A-Figure was really, REALLY stupid. I just hope we get more figures for the Hulk, Thor, and both heroes' friends, foes, and supporting cast members from Hasbro in 2026 and beyond. For 2026 reveals for either next year or for 2027, my current Top 10 for Hasbro would be: 01.) Doctor Octopus (classic or white Armani suit on the Retro Toy Biz box art) 02.) Mary Jane Watson (first appearance) 03.) Professor Hulk (brown Pantheon-era jumpsuit, Deluxe release) 04.) Invisible Woman (1995 opera gloves Fantastic Four suit, not the 2-piece version) 05.) Thor (classic Silver Age suit, as a solo release and not a Maximum release) 06.) Green Goblin (classic Silver Age version with bat-wing Goblin Glider and alternate heads of both Norman Osborn and Harry Osborn) 07.) Jubilee (Generation X suit) 08.) Wonder Man (red-and-black Avengers West Coast suit) 09.) Leader (orange-and-black suit with "Jiffy Pop" brain) 10.) Stunner (classic) |

Given the lists for 2026 have already leaked and what would be on my want list is not rumored, I'm not sure I should even bother doing one. I'm honestly not even sure what I want anymore beyond them finishing the Outback team and doing a Romita Jr (or properly animated) Hobgoblin figure. Possibly Mesmero from the early Claremont run and I guess any civilian characers from Spider-Man The Animated SEries like Felicia and Flash.

Yeah that's kind of where I'm at as well, though at least one figure from my top 10 might be on there. So I'm going to do it anyways, because according to rumors nothing else from here is going to be revealed for this year (if ever LOL) 1. Graviton 2. Exodus 3. Morgan Le Fay 4. Meteorite 5. Psylocke - Outback Armored look - Psylocke is rumored and I swear to god if it's another iconic Jim Lee bikini figure... 6. Abyss - AOA (probably would be a deluxe/BAF but just grouping them all in together at this point. 7. Atlas (would also probably be a deluxe or BAF) 8. The Wizard 9. Mandarin - in some other look, that's more classic villainy. At least we got the one this year. 10. Storm - AOA look Crimson Cowl, Synch, Attuma, AOA Quicksilver and a new Nemesis from the AOA round out my top 15. |
I doubt that any of the made-to-order figs will be normal sized (standard or large), which is why I don't believe we will see Titanium Man nor Annihilus in that format. And, from what I saw, Werewolf by Night uses Jackal's torso and arms, which disappointed me a bit.
Black Bolt, Medusa, Triton, and Gorgon all look solid. Warbow, and the Executioner are also well done. |

That we just got Outback Storm kind of shows they're aware of needing to complete the Outback line up, but look how long it took to finish Excalibur and X-Force. That rumored Psylocke could be modern Kwannon in her current suit too. Personally I'd like a 2 pack with both her pre body swap looks. But looking at Feral they're really scared of pink

Regarding Age of Apocalypse, it's nice to see some collectors wanting an AOA Abyss, AOA Sinister and an updated AOA Holocaust/Nemesis, but what about AOA Mikhail Rasputin? why is he so overlooked on the Marvel Legends wish-list?
|
Mikhail only showed up in a 2 issue mini during AOA & he's not a popular character in 616.
How many people are going to buy Phantom Rider thinking he's Cowboy Moon Knight? |

I'm liking the Inhumans packs, but am not sure why it wasn't just one four-pack instead of two two-packs. Executioner being a BAF in a wave that overall doesn't speak to me means I'm most likely going to pass on Enchantress too. I don't know if he's worth the price they're asking but I still placed an order for the jumbo Apocalypse. For me yesterday was a stronger showing than some previous events. |
