He is a 10" figure. MU' s are about 4". Say most figures are in reality (read fictional) are say 6 foot tall. Then the Wendingo is 2.5 Times taller... than he would equal 15 foot tall when scaled in a 1/18 setting. His own height and half as much again.... That was mathematics there. I need to have a quick little lie down now.

HOLY CRAP !!!! MY HEAD JUST EXPLODED !!!!! lol Thanks guys, I had a feeling he was too big. I wish the damn toybiz one that was made didnt have the "real" hair crap, that would have been perfect.

As you can see from all the quotes (and there's many more quotes posted on this thread believe me) VISION is a very interesting topic to say the least... But why???

The answer to my question is why not??? So I humbly ask you...
WHY???

Yes, I want to know exactly why do you want it, why?? I want to know what VISION means to you, I want to know what your (MOC or Loose) collection is like without VISION? I want to humbly (don't be shy) know what you economic situation is? I want to know how hard it is for you to get VISION? ETC... Be creative, but most importantly, be honest!

Think about it, think hard. I will give you until Saturday, April 12, 2014 to tell me by either posting you answer here in these thread (which I prefer) or PM me your answer as a last resort but don't be shy to post it on this thread my friends!

I promise you I will read every post very carefully and when I am done, I will choose the best one of them all (there is no right or wrong answer my friends, be yourself and speak the truth) and the chosen one will be rewarded dearly...

Yes, the winner will get a brand spanking new Marvel Universe 3.75' Non-variant, original, number 006, series 2 VISION figure... FREE!!!
Why you ask? Because I freaking feel like it that's why! (plus I have 3, LMAO). Consider this your X-Mas in July (or in this case late March, Lol)

TWO RULES: 1) It is open to current TOYARK Members ONLY. No new TOYARK Members, (sorry, it's only fair). Only current existing member (and I know who you are). 2) If you already have one don't be that guy or gal and try to get another one. Help your ARKERS out and don't participate if you already have one please (and I know who's who because I read older posts my friends).

And here is your MOC VISION!...

I love the Avengers having a limited income even more so now with child support I read team books to keep up with my fave heroes. I want a Vision to finish off my west coast team and he also ties the two Avengers teams together if I happen to win one cool if not im sure a movie version is in the works. This is a cool contest way to go Raf this is a awesome gesture.

Question: Have you tried removing the bag from the head? If so, is it the real deal head?

No I have not, but I saw a YouTube video once where a guy removes it, but yes there is a head there. I should have ordered 2 from happysayslass on eBay to removed the baghead.

I did... I know his hair comes unpainted. You have to put hot water on the head though.

kylactus 04-10-2014 08:52 AM

yeah I've seen a couple people remove the bag for the peter parker head, but for the rarity of the bag man I'd probably not risk breaking it and wait. you know Hasbro won't waste a perfectly good mold of peter! he'll be out in some form soon enough.

I dunno, Hasbro has made a lot of head molds for MU that I doubt we'll see again on any new figure (unless you count re-releases as new figures). Astonishing X-men Beast, Abomination, A-bomb, Beta Ray Bill, Starlord, Moon Knight, Blastaar, Rhino, Nova, Darkhawk, Omega Red, Thanos, etc. I guess a lot of head molds I mentioned probably won't see production again (not counting repacks) because they can't be anyone's head but their own.

kylactus 04-10-2014 12:31 PM

yeah but how many times have they re-released those same figures
beta ray bill-twice
Thanos-3 times
Nova-twice
and most of those other figures were released in much greater quantities than bag man. I'm just saying it's a lot of tooling to waste.

kylactus 04-10-2014 01:34 PM

ya know I was just thinking about the way Hasbro is "compartmentalizing" all of the MI themes year by year, starting of course with Avengers, then X-men, then what? yeah they could do an awesome year of Spiderman, but after that what could it be? Fantastic Four has trouble filling out one wave! I couldn't imagine them filling a year! but the big problem is this new structure kills a lot of obscure characters, for instance who's
title do the Savage Land characters belong to? they have been in every book! sure they, and others could be in any series, but isn't that true of everyone in the highly interconnected Marvel Universe? wolverine, Spiderman, beast, luke Cage, and almost everyone else have been Avengers at one point. Wolverine and Spidey have even been members of the FF, and now with the teams all mixed to hell in the comics who's to say where anyone really belongs! plus everyone shares villains constantly, I had a heated argument with a ten year old the other day who believed Juggernaut was a Spiderman villain, because he had never seen him with the X-men! oh well, maybe they'll give up eventually and just call the whole line something all encompassing, something "universal" that can put all the characters in the same "universe" that would be nice, and make more since!

En Sabah Nerd 04-10-2014 01:52 PM

I hope that after or during the X-themed MI it returns to Mu style, which is where the obscure can call home. Side-note: don't argue with those who have only weathered but ten winters, they know not of the forces which bend the cosmos!

kylactus 04-10-2014 01:58 PM

yeah but in a fight they drop like a skinny sack of poo!

Almost all obscures have appeared in under a bigger label at one time.

If they break it down like:
Avengers
X-Men
Cosmic
Fantastic 4
Spider-man
Magical Realms
Period Heroes

They could cover just about everyone. Rotate that around as needed and they could also include mainstays in almost all as well as cover obscures.

Between Avengers, Cosmic, Fantastic 4, and Spider-man they've got a large chunk covered. Toss in X-Men and you've got pretty much everything else missing covered too. There have been enough team-ups and crossovers that even nixing a few of these would still work.

So it could be:
Avengers
X-Men
Fantastic 4
Spider-Man

Then even nixing spiderman, as they could fit him under the fantastic 4 or avengers label which also narrows it down to a rotating 3. Cosmic can fit under avengers or fantastic 4 and x-men as well.
Daredevil fits under avengers or fantastic 4, and hulk stuff can go into avengers easy enough. Alpha flight to X-Men. Thanks to captain america and his eras, that can expand obscures to Avengers. X-Men has ties to the British heroes. So those obscures can fit there or under avengers. Fantastic 4 time travel a hell of a lot, so they're open for period heroes too. Punisher is tied to the thunderbolts now which goes towards avengers, or he also fits under spider-man. New Warriors can fit under avengers or x-men. The list goes on and on. It's only a matter of how you approach it or think outside the box. Both sword and shield fit under avengers and x-men too. So that opens up a massive door for any of them.

In fact, if not for the needed brand recognition. They could almost go two labels. Sword and shield. (Cosmic and Earth.)

Think of it like playing 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon and it becomes really fun trying to think of who fits where. xD
