Well, VISION is the embodiment of the thrill we collectors experience every time we go to a store while expecting new figures to appear. A lot of us went by Vision and never thought that this one is going to be the grail for many. Many of us went after phasing variant because we thought that this was the rare one. You never know what will happen and this is one of the things that make collecting so much fun.

And to celebrate all that makes VISION so interesting, let me quote canadian poet Marjorie Pickthall:

I think there is somewhere in Asia. I read these blogs based out of Singapore and it seems like they always stumble on these crazy rare figures at random shops.

I'm still amazed at how cheap those black panthers are going for.

note: if you find a MU team pack at Wal-Mart, it will be marked 25$ but they ring up at 17, just scored the inhumans, the others were all regular FF and guardians which are down to 10 at ROSS. and if you have a 5below near you, the stock girl there told me they'll have avengers movie figs soon.

what do you think Bruce Wayne got caught "stealing" off of that Chinese loading dock in the beginning of Dark Knight? a case of Moonstars and North stars. I kind of makes you wonder though how many kids are in some hardcore Chinese prison for boosting figs off of the assembly line for internet sellers... and if there happens to be any Chinese street kids on here if you can score a blonde Black Widow I will adopt you.

I hope MI brings back team packs and gives us a sinister six pack with Doc-Ock, The Vulture, and Sandman. Since Mysterio, Kraven, and Electro were all single releases that would finish the team.

I think a TRU style 6 pack would be best for the sinister six, with a slight re-deco to the three we have.

Folks, All of you 14 participants had great answers as to why you wanted VISION. You made it hard for us (ProfessorHov and I) to choose a winner. Thank you all for participating. Now is a good time for those that are TOYARK visitors to become members as you never know when a contest like this will happen again.

I was able to buy him a Super Helicarrier from a Hasbro executive here in England that had a display model for less than £50 that the money he donated to a childrens hospital here in the UK.

I am an American living abroad and am NOT allowed to work here in the UK. I was a famous glassblower once and when we save the funds to move to America, i will again. I am a starving artist here and get by with the occasional drawing sell. Our main income is from my partner. She was once a teacher. Then on 2009 was diagnosed with Multiple Scolrosis. She now spends her days in bed and in pain. I do what i can, but feel a lesser man because I can not provide for my family. We cannot even get married in the UK because she must £18,000 a year to marry a non citizen. We dont come close to that. Our son, Blaze is the most AMAZING child and is nuts about Marvel Universe and knows more about than halfthe guys here. We took pics and posted here. I told him I would "put it in the bank" but had to resale it at a loss to carry on.

I think it is cool what your doing andin my small would like to help. I really love toyark and try to be a strong contributing member and not just a whiner. I am always positive and love life.

We started WAY late in the game. Christmas 2012 after seeing the Avengers Assemble on DVD. We saw the FIRST showing of the new Captain America WINTER SOLDIER this Wednesday when it released at our local cinema. Next year when we move back to the States, I hope to do something like this as well. Maybe with some army builders though!!! That is really all I could offer.
Selling my son's Vision was a VERY sad day for me. I have never sold ANY of the collection before and nor would I. It was for a very honourable reason though. If he were to win your contest, Vision would NEVER EVER be sold and when and if the day comes.... he would be given away to a worthy collector again.

He has been asking about him recently, can we go to the bank vault and look at my Vision.... it breaks my heart when I have to say no.
I had to come up with 1,300 pounds in 9 days to begin my wife's barometric oxygen treatment for her multiple sclerosis. She had been on a waiting list for almost three years. A spot became available and I had less than a week and a half to come.up with the initial down payment. It is now running.at around 300 a month, which is a struggle. We manage though. She lives in constant pain and this treatment helps to alleviate a small bit of that.

She has three more years of the treatment ahead. That is why I won't be able to afford him in the foreseeable future. Until then, I will have to continue to tell my son his prized possession is "in the bank vault".

I admire what your doing. I thought I would share my story. I wasn't even going to enter.... but you asked me. It is hard for me.to accept.help... but it is for Blaze and not me. We have never sold.any other figures and.nor.shall we. Again if Blaze is fortunate enough to win... we too shall pass him on for free someday.

On a side note... I have just finished a Super Skrull drawing and will send you those pics as well. I will be starting on The Vision drawing for your runner up prize today and.should wrap it up Sunday or Monday. I just want to help people here so it continues to be a great place. Wow, what a touching story. Congrats to ukmu! Had I read his post earlier, I would probably refrain from posting mine because I really do not think anyone else should win the competition.

I would buy that, but knowing Hasbro they would do a Sinister 6 with 3 or 4 figures, most of them repacks. I really wish they would have thrown an ape man beast in that X factor team pack maybe on the Apocalypse buck, maybe it wouldn't still be on clearance if they had done that.
