Just to give everyone a heads up, be very careful with Lady Jaye's right elbow.

Mine just broke tonight, the lower right elbow hinge pin snapped clean. The most disturbing part is that it broke by itself. The last few days the joint was behaving weird. Sometimes it would move perfectly and ratchet, and sometimes it would be stuck and feel gummy. The left elbow works perfectly you can feel the ratchet every time, while the right one doesn't.

The Flint and Jaye wave actually popped up at my local Walmart yesterday, and I picked up a second Lady Jaye out of curiosity to see if the elbow was better than the one I got at target. The walmart one is identical, the left elbow joints function perfectly, while the right lower elbow hinge is gummy feeling and will not ratchet at all. It felt like it was going to break, so I boxed her back up. I'll be returning that one tomorrow.

Needless to say I'm frustrated, and I'm now starting to feel some regret even investing in this line now. I discovered a few days ago that my Zartan from Amazon actually has two right boots. His feet are correct, but the boot above the left foot is wrong. I couldn't figure out why he was having issues standing, and why his shin guard would not fit properly to the boot. Either I'm having the worst luck, or these figure are not as high quality as I was expecting.

Should I even bother trying to contact Hasbro about this? I've not dealt with them in years.

Someone else on another board mentioned an issue with Jaye's elbows. That does not bold well.

^ The old Scarlett is so much better IMO... she is the only one though. The repaints for Duke and Roadblock are better I think.

Also Target just stopped selling all trading cards in store... that's kinda crazy IMO. Would be hilarious if Joes were next.

With all the toxicity surrounding the upcoming Black Series and Cobra Island exclusives, it would not surprise me...especially if the fever is anywhere near as bad as it was with the Vipers.

Rumor has it that Target is not doing preorders for the Black Series Clone War wave, requiring you to search in store no matter what. If this is true and holds up to Cobra Island as well...it's gonna be a shitshow in the upcoming weeks.

You think? I think the new Scarlett is way better. Not just for the body paint apps but also because her face makes her look like her proper age instead of 16.

Samara Weaving looks great as Scarlett IMO.

I also prefer the original Scarlett. I get that the more colorful scheme isn't to everyone's liking but then with the repaint there are a lot of sculpted details totally unpainted that the original highlighted pretty well, it makes the repaint seem unfinished. I also don't get why I've seen so many people calling out the original for looking too young compared to the repaint since it's the exact same face but less freckly and with some makeup applied, like gingers just grow out of having freckles.

I don't know. The way the face is painted makes her look like a 16 year old J Scott Campbell Mary Jane Watson wearing Scarlett armor to me. Not sure why, but I've thought that way since I first got the figure.

Went to my Target after work today and apparently I wasn't the first person asking them about Bludd via the DCPI. Dude said they've had about 10 people in today and they don't have them nor does any store around here.

I still can't believe I found Major Bludd today at Target. On Tuesday I was told they would not be in store until next week. The joe pegs were empty, and while I was there I ran into another collector. As we were talking about the line, an employee came over and asked us if we wanted Major Bludd. A few minutes later he brings out a box with five of them and we each picked one out.

He's fantastic, easily worth the $20. I'll admit I'm not a fan of giving Bludd a prosthetic arm, but for this rendition it works and I dig the design they went with for it. He seems heavily influenced by the old Sideshow 1/6th figure. I'll try to get some loose action shots done soon, once I finish a few minor paint touch ups and adjustments. The silver on my copy's boots was a little sloppy. I'm also removing some of the excess shading on his face, mine had a little too much around and on the nose area.

Hard to believe it's only been 3 weeks since the insanity surrounding this figure began.

I was going to trust the ship date, but now I don’t know. I’m going to have to bug the associates each day until he drops I guess.

I think I read somewhere that Target's new policy on exclusives is if you give them the dcpi and they have it in stock they have to go and get it for you from the back... or something like that. Before it really depended on if the person felt like helping you or not... it was not official policy for them to help you. I think that is why they are being so proactively helpful on the exclusives now.

A little note...for the DCPI you will more than likely need to ask a clerk directly. Target's in-store stock checkers are not showing Major Bludd stock...nor is Popfindr. Appears Target might be blocking these sorts of searches after all the toxicity that occurred with the Cobra Vipers.

Apparently I missed out on Major Bludd this morning by about 5-10 minutes. The clerk on the floor said some lady came in and grabbed the entire case, and since there is no limits on the amounts that could be purchased, she was powerless to do anything about it.

If anyone comes across an extra Major Bludd, I have a couple of the base Cobra Infantry (not Cobra Island) troops I'd be more than happy to trade for. Let's try and help each other out where we can!

There's someone on TFW making a list to try and help users over there find Major Bludd, but if I find a few extras and am able to buy more than one, I'll grab you one. Though, my luck (and life) has been shit lately, so I doubt i'm going to ever see him.

The dude at the store I was at today actually showed me his telxon screen and it said no store in a 50 mile radius had a single one instock.

Different Targets arbitrarily make their own rules on collectibles. If they enforced a 1 per customer rule, things would be much better. I had a Target employee refuse to tell me when they would get Bludd in because “I would have an unfair advantage”, which made no sense because if I go back in there right now some other employee would tell me the date. Target exclusives are frustrating because Target just doesn’t give a damn about toy collectors. We’re basically vilified because of the psycho trading card guys. <end rant>

By the way, if anyone come by an extra Bludd, let me know. I have plenty of good shit worth trading for, just let me know what you’re looking for.
