You are both Correct. I have only seen pictures of AC Nightwing and to be honest I dont like him. So because of that I never really read anything on him and just assumed that it was DCD as Mattel is always last in line for these figs from the Game. Sorry for the misdirection.

Got Arkham Nightwing last week, might be the best Mattel Arkham figure yet(haven't handled Catwoman yet, only saw the variant set which I didn't want). HATE how Catwoman comes with yet another repaint of Batman. Come on. Should've been single packed!

Post Pics. I have held of getting him because he is a bit taller than my Wave 3 Nightwing and he has no place to store his weapons. Not to sure about his head either. Looks off to me.Anyway let us know.

ToyAddict 03-01-2012 06:05 PM

So I went to one of my local Target stores tonight to see if they'd restocked anything good. They hadn't in awhile so I gave up trying often. Anyhow, I found the spot for Batman Legacy 2packs. . .it had a tag on the peg dated 2/27. . .the price was. . .

39.09!!!!!!!!!!

I even scanned it to check. . .it scanned for that price! Is that happening everywhere?

thechris 03-01-2012 06:08 PM

^^ Wait, is this good or bad? Looks kind of expensive.

ToyAddict 03-01-2012 06:14 PM

Retail on these before Christmas was $29.99. Last I had gone to Target (last Friday, at a different Target) they were $31.99. Tonight, $39.09.

And as a side note, I just ordered both of the Batman/Catwoman 2packs from toysrus.com. For $29.99 each.

thechris 03-01-2012 06:17 PM

Wow, maybe this is a sign that large retail stores are trying to capitolize on the fact that geeks will guy anything for any price if they want it badly enough.

ToyAddict 03-01-2012 06:24 PM

I'll be going to the other Target tomorrow; we'll see.

Maybe they felt bad about not having Batman Legacy stuff in stock ever. So this way, they'll be sure to have it in stock -- 'cause no one will buy it at that price.

That or they know my TRU only has the Gordon/Proto-Bat set and my Walmarts don't carry them anymore. They're the only game in town.

DogFashionDisco 03-02-2012 02:26 AM

Today I saw in person Nightwing and Harley at a Target in another town while I was visiting a friend. I really hated the way Nightwing looked, but I pulled the trigger on Harley because the figure looks fucking fantastic. I already have the DCD version, so now I have to decide which one to keep.

iLegends73 03-02-2012 05:29 AM

only ones i've seen are catwoman and bats. i might have pulled the trigger on harley and nightwing if i ever saw those tho

Crazy Jetty 03-02-2012 06:10 AM

I've seen Nightwing once. Beautiful figure.
See Catwoman all the time (Ashame I don't want it).
Seen First Appearance Batman a couple times. Really want him, but can't really afford it.
Yet to see Harley.

Wow, quoting myself. . .weird. Anyways, yep, $39.09 for the 2packs at the other Target as well.

And in other news, this Target doubled their space for GI Joes from 4 pegs to 8 pegs. And they have exactly eight Arctic Destros to keep them warm. One Destro per peg. Nothing more, nothing less. (Sorry to de-rail the thread)

Nightwing's head looks like that robot from Red Dwarf if it was wearing make up. If you don't know who I'm talking about, just imagine Nightwing if his head was a square.
Anyway, if you're going to get a Nightwing, try to find one that is from the DCUC line.

I have a nightwing. Got the All-stars when it was reissued. AC's head doesn't bother me at all. And the body I thought was absolutely beautiful.
And I could have told you the android's name until you brought it up. >_< I hate that kind of memory lapse.

I haven't seen it in person yet, but I was hoping to grab the AC Nightwing to swap heads with the DCUC All-Stars version.

I thought the AC version had a more neutral looking hairstyle. DCUC Nightwing looks like he just came from a photo shoot for one of those black & white haircut catalogs they have at salons.

But I admit, I haven't seen it in person yet. If he is too much of a squarehead, I'll probably pass, too. Thanks for the heads-up.

I suppose he does have a rather exaggerated Superman-esque jawline, doesn't he?

DogFashionDisco 03-02-2012 08:29 PM

Ok, I know I said he looks like the robot from Red Dwarf (Kryten) with make up on, so I asked my friend who also saw this figure in person yesterday to give his description of it. He said it "made him think of Tori Spelling. Sort of long and squished on the sides". He also added that he'd still be willing to buy it eventually.

Runamuck 03-27-2012 04:06 PM

So, what's going on with this line? Target(at least in ALL the stores around here) isn't restocking. Bare pegs/shelves whenever I go in there, except the same tattered two-pack that I see everytime.

thechris 03-27-2012 04:08 PM

All we have is the First Appearance Batman and Catwoman figures.

FancyPants 03-27-2012 04:11 PM

I've seen nightwing and harley at target, I passed on BOTH. Just not good enough to buy honestly. harleys head looks strange in person and night wing just looks cheap. I'd rather spend the money and get the purple costume DCUC. I have the red one and its still awesome

tgbobafett 03-27-2012 05:49 PM

when does Arkham City Catwoman come out anyway??

She's been out for several weeks now. She comes in a two-pack with Arkham Batman.

Prowl 2009 03-27-2012 07:40 PM

Got my hands on FA Batman and GA Catwoman last week and man, they're sweet! Love Bats' classic costume, the cowl is much more bat-like! It's the Batman figure I've been wanting Mattel to release and man, did they deliver!

Catwoman was also nice, there's just something about these classic age costumes that look so good on these figures! Be it Bats, Joker or Catwoman, these figures are just great and I am so sad the line is stopping at Wave 3.

Only gripe, no accesories! Bats should've had a classic batarang and zipline. Catwoman, a whip. But, whatever, they look so good, those absent accessories can be passed upon.

All in all, I am once again VERY happy with Mattel's latest Batman Legacy figures! :D

Runamuck 03-27-2012 07:42 PM

Oh, wow....they're stopping after wave 3? Man, where is Mattel going?

I think they wanted to cash in on the Batman characters and with the next Bats film coming up they probably pulled the plug and reconsidered how to sell them through their subscription.
