I read an article on flea markets this past week on Yahoo! and it was talking about the things that flea markets won't tell you. anyways one of the things is that you shouldn't expect to go there with the intention of finding 'gold' so to speak because the dealers are usually going to know what they have and price accordingly. long gone are the days of getting a once in a lifetime deal at the flea market, you might have better luck at yard sales and the like

That makes sense. The only flea market anywhere near here shut down last year, and I have a feeling that if any toy shows come here I'll just be looking at stuff and not buying for the same reasons you described.

Another thing that happens at Flea Markets now is that they think something is worth a price that is crazy outlandish because they saw a new in box going for a high amount on e-bay and think their missing arm no weapon dinged up version is the same.

My weekend haul: SHS Thor plush, Thor & Loki Blood Brothers DVD, Light up base Thor{on sale}, two of the Avengers body wash{on sale}, and the MIB 3 figures which I've already replaced the Tommy Lee Jones head with my Norman so I finally have a suited Norman Osborn. :D

That and people with smart phones make it even that much quicker to look up prices...

I spent a little at TRU this weekend! Actually it wasn't that bad. The Black Panther was only about $15 after tax (sale) and the Iron Man/Nick Fury was about the same. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the Black Panther figure but he is really cool. And after making fun of the light up bases, I'm digging the stand he comes with. Also not sure if I even want a Sam Jackson figure. I just hate passing on something just to go back and never see it again. (I did that with Storm Shadow in January)

Pretty good day at the flea market today. Nothing spectacular but got a couple cool things for pennies basically.

Found this cool motorcycle. It was really bulky and armored and it was only $1. Works well with Bishop I think.

That glider looks like the one that came with the famous covers goblin, was a cool figure, I used to have him. he's a cloth and plastic figure, roughly 8-9'' tall.

ps that bike is badass, if anybody knows what that's from let me know. I wouldn't mind repainting something like that. fun project.

Dis one. Best Hobgoblin out there. It's a 6" Hobgoblin from the Spider-Man series (wave 17 I believe).

crazy thing is they were selling for 400 or more on ebay few years ago, I sold mine for 60 max.

I also ebay auctions were the sellers have no clue what they are selling like this one I just one. Ml Galactus, I think I have the hand missing, and don't mind display the iron man with out its helmet.
