Why is it 6 inch figures seem to have much better distribution...

They are the current fad.

Stargirl's ratings are good. Furthermore, more obscure figures never done in 3.75 are also there

They did have that New52 wave they just sat on forever. I would have bought the whole set plus an extra Constantine and Etrigan to make Sinestro Corpsmen outta them. Shitty to think they won that poll for release and yet they went with those rainbow Batmen that had already been leaked by cBay years prior.

Anyway I did enjoy their Batman vs. TMNT figures and wished they'd at least done the mutant villains too.

JkrSmkrMdntTkr 08-12-2020 10:44 AM

Came across some of the newest (I think) Heroes Unite wave. Near as I can tell, the store I was at got two cases in. So many Supermen and other repaints already. Seems like they could've scratched a couple of Superman variants and added a Lex or two. Green Lantern is cool enough. That repaint Cyborg is alright. Another Shazam. Gold Wonder Woman doesn't appear to be "Super Rare" to me. No Grodd, Aquaman or Reverse Flash but I dunno if they were in that assortment or someone already nabbed them. I honestly don't understand these assortments or what they're made up of. Each case contains six figures, but there are 17 figures shown on the checklist insert, so I've no clue what figure is in what case or when it'll show up.

I still haven't seen a sign of the Talon/Firefly wave of Batman stuff or the Target exclusive pale Man-bat/yet another black Batman around here.

Yeah, but didn't they make the first Injustice figures? They would've probably been shit anyway.

I'm still pretty pissed about not getting that Etrigan and Sinestro.

shit quality control and undersized. I would've passed on a lot of them tbh (like I did with the injustice and gl figures) but certain characters like constantine would've been an instant buy as he doesn't need to be tall.

That Sinestro was released as the Green Lantern version. I just picked that up and painted him yellow.
I've never seen this lineup before, that's a damn tragedy we didn't get that Constantine, Etrigan, or Captain Cold. Hard to imagine there was an initial lineup of figures that only had 1 Batman character!

Some of my favorite figures for sure. Still need Kilowog/Kyle and Larfleeze/Guy. I'll sadly need a new Atrocitus too because the arm broke on mine.

Crap I still haven’t found Lex, Green Lantern, or Red Nightwing.

Super Joe 08-14-2020 04:55 PM

Batcave at Tue Morning shops $29. They also got Star Wars Res. 3.75 figures

No big surprise but its official. Hiya put out a statement, no new IJ2 figures coming.

Autobot_Goldbug 08-14-2020 09:49 PM

well hopefully since they worked with WB/DC they mightbe able to do some others too one day

Il Cattivo 08-14-2020 09:50 PM

congrats arrowverse fans.

snake5289 08-14-2020 10:12 PM

Damn. I was really hoping for a Brainiac.

Il Cattivo 08-14-2020 10:48 PM

we're getting one from spin master so all good. though finding him could be a real pain in the ass.

JkrSmkrMdntTkr 08-15-2020 05:44 AM

I'm pretty much giving up on the Spin Master line. It was fun when it was just a "walk into a store and buy some nifty kid's toys" sorta deal, but not so much now that it has become another collectible for adults. Once scalpy dicks horn in on a line, the good times are over. Which really sucks for this line because they're actually toys, priced appropriately, and not some hyper-articulated exercise in fragility or over-priced blatant nostalgia wank-fest.

Brickseek.com is helpful. Anyone got the UPCs for figures?

This is the point I'm at too. I've missed more figures I want than I even have so far.

I've been using Popfindr, but it's not really helping because I have a scalper/scalpers in the area who are probably using the same tools. Like most of us, I have other things to do (like work & family) and can't (and would rather not) just drop everything and rush to the stores, so I'm always late to the show.

Yeah, a big part of the fun was finding the toys in store like the old days. I don't mind missing out because others bought them before I got there, but it gets frustrating and defeating to miss out on something because it either never showed up in your area in the first place or miss it and later discover someone in your town is scalping them on ebay.
