Anybody have any good ideas for a DCUC scale custom Metallo? I kind of want a flesh/robot version, but I realize that that might be out of my skill set.

I want the character in my collection, but I want a normal sized one (not the CnC version).

I thought about using the Terminator Endo somehow, but that's about all I have in mind.

Suggestions?

I'm sure someone who didn't know Deathstroke existed first is upset with you now. Deadpool is ludicrously way more popular than Deathstroke, not hard to gather why.

I was kinda hyped for his Arkham Origins boss battle, then he turns out to be like the second boss and it's a letdown. Arkham Knight was even worse, you don't fight him you just tackle him and lock him up after a rousing match of World of Tanks.

It's the never ending battle! Ironically these are my two favorite characters.

^^^^
I laughed really hard at this , hoping DC icons makes a deathstroke

Ravenxl7 07-29-2015 06:45 PM

I would prefer Mattel to do it in their new Multiverse C&C line, but no matter who makes it, an action figure of Slade's current outfit would be a must-have.

The DC Direct Public Enemies one is pretty cool, if you don't mind the cartoony head (the rest of him is more detailed :D ) And if you don't, just slide the face off and he's got a T-800 head under there!

I kind of forgot to put the emoticon at the end of my post.

However, I hate Deadpool because he is nothing more than a wannabe Deathstroke. He is just a moron and I think he is one of the worst rip-offs ever.

thenameiuse 07-30-2015 04:29 AM

3233rafael. Which figures are the 2nd and 5th ones from left in that Deathstroke group shot?

I believe the second one is Mattel's Arkham Origins Deathstroke, and the fifth one is the Deathstroke DCC released on it's own (aka the real Deathstroke).

I have to admit 3233rafael, that's one impressive Deathstroke collection. It's just too bad there isn't a Teen Titans Slade to go with them.

Zorn88 07-30-2015 08:20 AM

Which Deathstroke is your favorite, Raf?

A little too cartoony for me, but thanks for the heads up. I didn't even know this existed.

I won't say i hate him, but that is correct. he is just a plain rip-off of Deathstroke. the comical parody in everything he is in has become old.. i just finished reading the Deathstroke Annual # 1, and let me tell you it's a damn good series, and i look forward to it everytime the next issue is released. i've bought maybe 2 deadpool issues and it's the same crap, too many lame jokes. not only is he a rip off of Deathstroke, but they also made me kind of rip off Spidey with all the jokes. at least Spidey isn't constantly throughout an issue making dumbass remarks.

Thank you...is that TT Slade a 6"? I don't recall the figure. Also, you're correct but that's the 6th one though, he asked for the 5th one from the left.

I love them all but if I had to pick...The DCUC wave 3 masked one and the Mattel's Batman Unlimited one. I can't pick one out of those 2, Lol.

I keep all the weapons and accessories to all the DC loose figures in a separate box. The only problem is that now I really don't remember what belongs to who. Everything's there, that's all I know...

It's no secret Deadpool was made as knock-off Deathstroke, and I will say I used to like him a lot more than I do now. He used to have some good (or at least decent, issues will vary) comics back when with Circle Chase and then Deadpool vol. 1 by Joe Kelly. He was portrayed as a deranged asshole with pitiful dreams of one day being a true hero, he was actually technically intelligent just mean and unstable. Then towards the end of volume 1 he got too popular and new writers devolved him from a sympathetic monster into a jackass idiot clown. In one issue he is clearly multilingual, later on he barely seems to fully grasp English. Sorry for this little rant, it didn't belong on this thread to begin with.

Nice. I am thinking about getting the DCUC one.

I couldn't do that. I would get frustrated in the future when I would try to match figure with accessory.

I keep all of my accessories in close proximity to their owner.

Yes, that's what I should've done from the start. I did it because my son would play with the loose figures so I was afraid he would choke on a small piece. Which is your favorite Deathstroke?

Ironically, the DCUC one, which I don't have.

I have both of the masked Arkham Origins figures, and the Arrow season one, two pack Deathstroke(and that one is MIB because it is signed).

Barefootabe 07-30-2015 03:34 PM

thats how i am with my star wars figures i have a storage container of just accessories. D: its gonna be a night mare if i ever decide to sell them

I want to say he was maybe a 5" figure, but for some reason I want to say that he was closer to 4" scale. Either way he would look kinda small next to the rest of them. With the succes sof the Batman animated line, I kinda hope DCC consideres doin a similar line for the Teen Titans cartoon some day. I would love to get some good representations of those designs. Most especially Slade and Raven.

... and I WAS referring to the 5th one. If I was talking about the 6th one I would have just said the new 52 figure DCC did. My "real Deathstroke" comment was in-reference to the fact that the Arrow 2-pack "Deathstroke" is actually based on Wintergreen, while the solo figure is actually based on Slade himself.

Oh ok, I get you know. It's because I didn't see you mention the Arrow Series that's why I assumed you meant the 6th one, my bad.
