Anyways, with any luck there should be at least one new Deathstroke figure coming out next year (Suicide Squad movie). |

I just hope that, with such a large cast for the movie, they don't do multiple figures of the same characters. I really kinda want to see the wave be Deadshot, Harley, Joker, Killer Croc, Katana, and Deathstroke. Though I still have no idea what the C&C should be. I can't imagine there's any props in the movie they could really do a replica of, and I doubt they would consider throwing in a comic-based figure for that. |

So I think I'm going to start purging a bit of my DCU collection.
I have so many figures that just collect dust on my shelf since I only bought them because they were part of the line. I mean, sure, it is cool to have random characters like Shark, Superman Red, Bwana Beast, Dr Impossible, and Brimstone, but I didn't buy them because I had any attachment to them, I bought them because they are from the DC universe. I'm starting to think that might not have been a great idea. I think I'm going to get rid of the ones I really don't care about character wise. Hell, I don't even know anything about Brimstone other than what the Encyclopedia tells me. He hasn't been in any of the comics I have read, and while he was in one JLU episode and Public Enemies, he didn't actually do anything that makes him a worthy character in my eyes. Plus, I don't really think I need/want all of the variants like I initially thought. |
Brimstone is part of the New Gods because he is Powered by an element from the new gods last I read a long time ago. He has been in a few comics
Action Comics (1938) Avengers/JLA (2003) Brimstone and The Borderhounds (2010) Cosmic Boy (1986) DCU: Legacies (2010) Firestorm, the Nuclear Man (1986) Justice League Task Force (1993) Legends (1986) Sarjakuvalehti (1985) Secret Origins (1986) Suicide Squad (1987) Superman: Nightwing and Flamebird (2010) Superman/Batman (2003) Teen Titans (2003) The DC Comics Encyclopedia (2004) The Fury of Firestorm (1982) The Ray (1994) Trinity (2008) Underworld Unleashed: Patterns of Fear (1995) Who's Who: Update '87 (1987) Zero Hour Sampler (1994) |

God, I hate those silver age figures. I am a child of the 80's and grew up in the post crisis DCU. Dang, I am trying to collect modern versions of all the DC females and she is a hole in my collection that I cannot fill.

What's everyone's thoughts on those Batman 66' Mattel figures? i've been tempted to buy some since i first seen they came out just don't know if they're quality is good....
|
For Lois, I've had to settle for DC Direct's Sophie (from 2-pack with Promethea). I have no idea who they are, so it's okay to me, I don't stare at it and think "that's not Lois, it's Sophie."
