Well, it's one thing to think it will be up at "your" time at midnight, as that doesn't make sense for exclusive sets, that would mean that the time zone that changes to 7/28 earliest would have first shot rather than everyone having a shot all at once. The movie was actually based on the characters from this era (they left some out). What's funny is that the original Guardians series takes place in the future and they establish that that original series took it's name from the 2008 team. Yay time travel!

And to comment on the SDCC thing, there has never been a rhyme or reason to it. A few years ago, a friend texted me when everything went on sale around 4:30. I had to pull over and order my stuff on my phone because I was driving home from work. Yay Hasbro!
