I haven't heard anything, though I hope we see more of everything (come on Legion of Monsters team-pack!). Not sure why it matters, but I called it Cologgernaut, Colosonaut works well too.

Hasbro's women sculpts just keep getting better and better.

I love this figure (platonic of course), but what I love even more is that I've seen it twice in my stores already (well twice at one store with a two week gap).

That being said the Ant Man and Valkyrie are great just for being released, and even if cyclops isn't the K-mart Dredd costume it'll still be the heroic age figure from the cancelled team-pack, so at worst you'll do some mild customizing.

K mart dred costume?

Probably not the best term, but when I see his Marvel-NOW costume
http://www.panelsonpages.com/wp-cont...yclops-Now.jpg
The head just reads off to me like a cheap Judge Dredd mask
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...n-dredd-3d.jpg
The only resemblance is the kind-of X on Dredd's helmet, but that's what I call Cyclops' new costume.

Ninjinister 04-22-2014 01:25 PM

I'm pretty sure, and super glad if so, that these are the unreleased Ant-Man, Valkyrie, and Cyclops from the MU line. Would make sense since the next wave has the previously unreleased Death's Head and ThorBeard (although I'm still ticked at not getting Throg). It also means we might eventually get everything we were supposed to get in the MU line but didn't, or at least most of it.

cidman911 04-22-2014 01:40 PM

Only got one Wasp for my gf but I'd love one for my own collection. Hopefully theyre easier to find when the hype dies down.

And that Cyclops Judge Dreddd mask is awesome. Just depends on the artist I guess, this is my favorite piece of art with it so far. It makes it look like the ruby quartz or whatever he said the eye piece made of.

Update on Cyclops, OR and Ant-Man. I'm stoked, granted I have OR already but hey I don't mind getting another one.
Marvel Infinite Wave 3 Up For Preorder at BBTSSo high hopes that we'll get Emma, and the other ones that they announced for the latest MU and are just shifting them into the MI series instead. Still hate the cheap card board and art but eh.

Nope read this^ regarding Cyke Chuck, and yes that is correct En.

spade 04-22-2014 03:33 PM

Wave 4 ... when the fun begins.

Will we get new characters or retreads?

rea1180 04-22-2014 04:17 PM

I received a new fig in the mail today...well new to me...Nova.

I agree, I am wondering what Hasbro plans to do when they run out of existing figures that haven't been released. I'm thinking (with emma frost, colosonaut and scourge) we have one more wave with unreleased figures before they have to come up with something completely new (witch I don't believe they've done since Vonner left) or start the recycling. Has anyone herd about any thing in the MI line other than basic single carded figures, I.E. Box sets, three packs, comic packs, masterworks, gigantic battles?
I think Hasbro could do repaints up the wazoo and they would have years and years of waves to go, only tiny little touches like armor and accessories would need to be made to make the repaints work.

Come on Hasbro... repaint us a Titania!

EDIT: What's the betting that Ant-Man comes with the mini Ant-Man that will not be coming with the Yellowjacket reissue?

En Sabah Nerd 04-22-2014 07:06 PM

Wasp came with mini-wasp, so yeah I could see that.

kylactus 04-22-2014 07:54 PM

aren't wasps wings suppose to stay tint and only be visible when she shrinks? I don't recall ever seeing her fly at normal height.

Was deathlok one of vonner's? I thought maybe they were doing deathlok cuz he is on the shield show. That's kind of disturbing if hasbro hasn't come up with anything new since vonner left, wasn't he let go like back in 2012?

kylactus 04-22-2014 08:15 PM

yep he alluded to Deathlok in the same interview that he "announced" whirlwind by saying one of the characters would "blow us away" then all we got was his pic on the SDCC hellicarier box. as far as I can tell there has not been one new figure (not counting repaints) since Vonner left. That is the source of my fear. I've read numerous times in interviews that it takes one to two years to get a figure out there, add the slow releases and whole waves of repacks, how long has Vonner been gone? we'll surely know this year if Hasbro has any new ideas, or if there still swimming in the Vonner well. I haven't heard anyone at Hasbro express a passion for this line since the old team. I don't even know who's in charge of the line anymore! we don't get regular announcements, no one's out there beating the drum trying to gain support and enthusiasm for the line, it's like they just don't care. remember when they did fans choice pools? then actually made the figures! where did that go?!?, probably the same place as interactive websites, file cards, individual card art, and stands!... Between the MI packing, and SW Black, the toy isle is fast becoming a sad dreary place. Thus endith the rant.

No, I've read issues where she flies at full size. An exact issue for proof is Uncanny Avengers #13.

Yeah I went to target and fred Meyers today, seems like the only figures selling are wasp and hulk, even with the stores getting second cases in. There is so much source material to draw from between books, movies, and shows. All they need to do is open an avengers book from any decade to come up with ideas for this avengers line. Vonner really championed this line its too bad no one else seems to be... Oh well at least we are getting new characters!

joefan76 04-22-2014 09:07 PM

I'd love to have con-exclusive made available widely like Tiger Shark or Radioactive Man. Add a non-pool Champion and a Dazzler-ed Dagger, and you have 4/6 of a new wave with minimum work!

I would give a lot for Tiger Shark or Radioactive Man!
