I buy the cases from HTS cause of the crazy discounts it has some times and free shipping.

How laggy does the matty site get?

It came to the point where I had to limit myself. I was spending so much money. I just do Marvel Legends and Transformers. And even with the Transformers, I just buy new versions if they will replace an old version if a character or it's someone I don't have. The whole combiner wars thing is great, and there are like 2 waves of straight up repaints coming out. I'll be skipping them. Sorry, I know that was waaaaaay off topic there.

I feel ya, glad the Marvel stuff is somewhat slow and not a lot I want out of t

Yeah this is horrible...sites taking forever to get the stuff through. Although got the Dr. Strange legends set...

Exactly. $126 for five figures is $25 a figure. Retail (if they were even available) plus tax would be $22-$23. And it's better than paying $200 plus for the set through a third party seller

UrsaMagnus 07-28-2015 08:45 AM

Yeah, I should have been specific.

The active discussion for this fiasco seems to be here vs. the 3.75" thread, so that's why I'm in here at the moment. ;)

Dr Kain 07-28-2015 08:47 AM

Well, my order did go through. I should be excited and yet, I'm not for some reason.

Congrats. If you decide when you get it you don't really want it after all, I'm sure someone will be happy to buy it from you.

Captain Nash 07-28-2015 08:50 AM

Do we get an email anytime soon? Does it just take time? Are they busy? Sorry, I know I got an online order number but I'm just paranoid.

NM just got the email. "whew"

3233rafael 07-28-2015 08:51 AM

Got it!!! Took a while to refresh but went though!

Phantomcrow 07-28-2015 08:54 AM

Haven't gotten my email yet, but my bank account has already been charged.

Amusingly I had the easiest time getting the orders through using Chrome on my phone over my wifi. My tablet was failing using Dolphin and I was not getting anywhere on my PC. Managed to get what I wanted.

Yes, chrome or firefox will usually do for me.

3233rafael 07-28-2015 09:02 AM

They didn't do a one per costumer this time around.

Kernel 07-28-2015 09:08 AM

Well finally managed to snag both legends sets (ant man and vishanti) holy smokes that was intense! I'm sure the leftovers will pop back up next week on Wednesday seems like that's the trend in the last few years, but that Vishanti Book is a hot item. I saw it at a local toy show a few weeks ago but the guy wanted $250 for it.

donmeca2020 07-28-2015 09:10 AM

UPDATE - i left my parents home at 11, went to go walk my uncle's dog... i got a call from a friend that the site was live and running, he told me star wars figure was hone immediately.

after walking the dog, i called my GF up told her to get on that site PRONTO!!! she then waited and waited. she was able to order me the Ant-man set while!!! Sucess and only thing i had to deal with is the usual crap " i can't believe your a grown man buying toys" blah blah blah

anyways got home a few mins i got on there, book of vishanti was gone, i was gonna see if they were still available. no biggie but i did order the mini ant man figure in the match box looking casing. !!

sucess !!!!!!! still haven't gotten my confirmation for mini figure yet...

how did everyone else do ?? do you guys get what you wanted.

Captain Nash 07-28-2015 09:12 AM

I got my set. No need to release the wrath. So glad you were able to get the Ant-Man set. It's still available as a moment ago as well. It's crazy how intense this was but I do hope everyone got what they wanted.

Glad you got what you wanted, as did I, only thing I didn't get was the SW and Magic but eh...those were for friends. Mini Ant Man sold out. That figure wasn't feeling it for me...but eh.

Punisher26 07-28-2015 09:20 AM

Site kept crashing over and over. Then the dr. Strange set and storm trooper get yanked out of my cart and won't let me delete them, wtf man!? Still got the ant man set and the gi joe set. I was feeling crappy so I threw in the gi joe kreo set lol!

Punisher26 07-28-2015 09:21 AM

The Mimi Ant-Man is gone.

bro !! this might sound nuts, but i literally was panicking. my uncle doesn't own a computer or internet access at his house, my phone the internet at his house doesn't work well. i was like WTF.

now for all of you that ordered the Ant-man set. is this set a basic mix of figures? is the goliath legends size? is the hank pym universe/ infinite size? and i can tell the giant man is a big boy !! probably look better around the big boy legend figures.

now besides size wise. whats the difference with the giant man lengend and this one? are the costumes different at all ?

Charliegone 07-28-2015 09:22 AM

I got my BofV set. Glad I didn't have to pay eBay prices!

Yeah, each figure is a different version of Ant Man/Giant Man/Goliath.
The red and black Giant Man is 12inch- (same costume as the Ant Man wave of Legends)
The blue and yellow Goliath is 6 inch
The Pym in Lab coat is 3.75 inch
and the smaller are 1 inch and .5 inch.

The Goliath is Legends scale, made on the Bucky Cap body same as the recent Giant-Man. The smaller Lab Coat Pym is indeed 4-inch. The big Giant-Man will still look good for those that want to display him with Legends.

I assume you mean the older BaF Giant-Man? The costumes are different and the bodies are completely different constructions from one another. Plus the BaF is still taller.

Phantomcrow 07-28-2015 09:38 AM

I am surprised that the GI Joe and Transformers stuff did not sell out. I knew the Legends and SW Black figure would sell out, but I guess since there were not any TF/Joe crossover stuff they were less popular. And Kre-O has all but dried up now, so I can see that demand would drop too.

I couldn't see having a 6 inch giant man figure.... i realize he shrinks back to normal but the figure should be big.

This is what I found the most odd about the Giant-Man wave... Ultron BAF with a 6-inch "Giant" Man figure was pretty lame and should've been the other way around. The only use for these 6-inch Giant-Man figures is for "size up" displays or fodder.
