dude the LOTR legos are amazing. I'm just baffled at the prices, them and the avengers Lego aren't playing around. They want your money

No kidding man, my son and I built this set earlier this afternoon and we ended up playing with it ALL DAY. :) He even decided to bring Lego Batman and Robin in to back up Frodo and Sam (he's 4) and it was so hilarious and awesome. ;D

When I go out hunting tomorrow, I think I might snag the Uruk Hai army or Weathertop battle set as well...

^ Shelob is an incredibly badass figure, but my favorite thing about the set is Frodo's alternate "I just got stung!" expression. lol

seriously jealous. I wish my son was old enough to play with stuff. He's gonna be two on the second, but his playing is just holding his captain america figure while we watch the avengers cartoon. He's getting good though, he knows the hulk, captain america and iron man. and for some reason ant man lol :)

just got this guy. kinda got the pulley system working and didn't know the wings were also missile launchers which is weird since the grappling hook part looks like it can be launched but the connection isn't long enough. wish he had more guns and jabby weapons but overall pretty cool. whole thing is tangled on my desk lamp right now. also no place to store his sword makes me sad panda.

but Lego makes effing sponge bob legos. The kid old enough to build legos should not be into sponge bob. I refuse to buy my kid sponge bob legos, i'd direct him to star wars or something castle based. A castle plus the LOTR monsters would own as a DIO
