Those guys are giants.

snake5289 12-19-2020 07:27 PM

Ugh it still kills me they never did a Multiverse pack with Bane. I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of the Asylum version of him but I still would've gotten one without question.

Il Cattivo 12-19-2020 07:46 PM

that was actually the reason why I wanted to see him next to those arkham giants. different design but same build (skipped leg day). I can see him working as arkham asylum bane.

Here Bane is next Marvel Universe Juggernaut.

Ninjinister 12-20-2020 04:18 AM

Finally found Batman wave 2 figures! At a grocery store, no less...

Grabbed Batwoman and Killer Moth, oddly the checklists they come with are wave 1s...

clearly bane with jane legs and juggs aren't friends.

Captain Morgan 12-25-2020 07:29 AM

I have a question.

How come on the 3.75 scale news feed they don't have news on this line?

Or any of the other lines like Halo, Fortnite, GI Joe, etc.

Maybe they think 4 inch line is not the same as 3.75...? That's all I can think of.

The SM Bane is def big enough. Just those too skinny/short legs make him look a bit too cartoony..

Same also mad we never got a multiverse batgirl from the Arkham games.

They have news on the Hiya Predators and they go over 4 inches.

I just think it's odd they don't cover Halo, Fortnite, GI Joe, and the DC Heroes Unite line.

Anyways thanks for the Bane pics I was wondering how he stacked up withe the Mattel version.

Not covering G.I. Joe makes sense since they have Hisstank for that, but yeah, I've no idea why there's no real coverage of the other short-ass toy lines. In fairness though, there's never any "news" for the Spin Master Heroes Unite/Batman line anyway. I don't think anyone knows what's going on with these toys. We all just seem to wait for shit to show up in stores.

Il Cattivo 12-25-2020 03:13 PM

dwight paid them off to stop covering the 4/3.75 lines.

I was wondering if one could borrow legs from a MU Juggernaut or similar sized figure?
I think they both have the ball hip joints

Agreed. I loved the look of her suit in Knight.

juggernaut's legs are so much bigger would they even fit bane with jane legs' tiny hips?

Captain Morgan 12-25-2020 06:35 PM

Bane with MU Juggernaut legs would be a beast.

I saw someone on another site replaced the legs with executioners on one of the short legged figures... looked pretty good but they said they had to crack the torso and swap out the ball joints or something like that where the hip connects

I guess that would work too
Executioner is a different slimmer body than Juggernaught

Cracking the torso on these figures is a huge pain. Too much glue or something.

Might be easier to modify the hip socket of the donor leg or doing the swap at the thigh-swivel instead of trying to replace the t-bar in the crotch.

I don't know if the hips are compatible, but I think Ares is the best bet for legs there- the same length but more realistic in proportions and already cast in black plastic. Hell, just headswap and use the entire Area body instead...
It's pretty awesome as a base figure and easy to customize.
